Radio One (R1) is the first private radio station in Mauritius, owned and broadcast by Viva Voce Ltd. It started operations in 2002 with a Private Commercial Free to Air FM Radio Broadcasting Licence issued by the Independent Broadcasting Authority- Mauritius. [1] Radio One is popularly known as the news and entertainment radio channel.

During the turf season, Horse racing are commented live on Radio One. ( See also Champ De Mars Racecourse ) Radio One is the exclusive broadcaster of Spinnin sessions, Clublife, ASOT, Planet Perfecto, UMF Radio.

During the Municipal Elections 2012, Radio One along with 2 other radio stations Top FM and Radio Plus received a letter [3] by the Independent Broadcasting Authority listing directives to follow the rules and regulations they owe to follow during the mentioned period. The Chairman of IBA accused Top Fm of suspected breaches penalizing the other two private radio in an interview in Le Defi Quotidien but the decision was challenged as Top FM state that they had so far communicated all and requesting the IBA to withdraw the new directives so that Radio Plus and Radio one could continue their phone-in programs. [4]

Kids Channel, previously known as Knowledge Channel (2007-2014), was a Mauritian free-to-air cartoon television channel operated by the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). Launched as the Knowledge Channel on 18 September 2007, it primarily broadcast cartoons, anime, teen sitcoms, game shows, and educational children's TV series in both English and French. On 15 September 2014, MBC renamed the channel to Kids Channel. At a certain time, the frequency went on live streaming of TV5Monde. On a letter dated 3 August 2020, the Independent Broadcasting Authority (Mauritius) revoked the licence of the radio for non-compliance with the Information and Communication Technologies Act 2001.

Radio Unsko-sanskog kantona or Radio USK is a Bosnian local public radio station, broadcasting from Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina and it broadcasts a variety of programs such as news, music, morning and talk shows. Program is operated by RTV USK and it is mainly produced in Bosnian language.
