It is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name and sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam, The film stars Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu and Shriya Saran alongside a supporting cast, including Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor and Kamlesh Sawant. The story is set seven years after the events of the first film.

De De Pyaar De 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films. It is a sequel to the 2019 film De De Pyaar De. The film stars Ajay Devgn, and Rakul Preet Singh who reprise their roles alongside R. Madhavan. The film was announced on 13 March 2024 by Luv Ranjan on social media and is scheduled to release on 1 May 2025.
