Raj Kaur is an Indian professional archer. She won the bronze medal in the women's compound division at the 2019 World Archery Championships held from June 10 to June 16 in 2019 at 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. [3] The Indian women's compound team of Muskan Kirar, Jyothi Surekha Vennam, and Raj Kaur defeated Turkey by 229-226. [4]

Early life

Raj Kaur lives in Amritsar, Punjab. She left Border Security Force and presently working as police constable in Punjab police. Her father Mr. Inderjeet is also working as constable in Punjab police. [5]

Deepika Kumari is an Indian professional archer. Currently ranked the World No. 1, she competes in the event of archery. She won a gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth games in the women's individual recurve event. She also won a gold medal in the same competition in the women's team recurve event along with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi. She has won individual gold in two of the three stages of the World Cup--one in Guatemala and another in Paris. Gagandeep Kaur is an Indian archer. She is the first archer from Punjab to win a medal (bronze) in the Archery women's compound team with Jhano Hansdah and Bhagyabati Chanu, defeating Malaysia. For her unexpected performance, she was even awarded with Rs 2 lakh cash award from Punjab University in Patiala.

She beat Malaysian archer Sazatul Nadhirah Zakaria by 139-136. Muskan was trained by Richpal Singh Salaria at the Madhya Pradesh Archery Academy in Bhopal.

Baatth is the first female boxer from Punjab to participate in the Olympics. Simranjit won silver at the 2019 Asian Championships and bronze at the 2018 World Championships.
