Plot
Ramachaari is a person hailing from a middle-class Brahmin family background. In the beginning episodes, it is shown that he goes for the 60th year Pooje, of a wealthy businessman, the father of an arrogant lady named Charulatha (aka Charu), who had met Ramachaari in a chance encounter when she drove her car so fast, while coming back home. But Ramachaari stepped over the car, enraging her and this triggered a sense of anger in her. Then, several incidents infuriate her more, eventually, they end up joining the same company (Arjuna Architects). Several days later, Charulatha's father compels his daughter to stay in Ramachaari's home, against her wishes. This enrages her more and decides to avenge her insult, thus ruins Ramachaari's sister's marriage, causing even more problems to his family. Later when Ramachaari is revealed about the truth, he goes to warn her. On the other hand, Charulatha's 3-month task of work experience almost comes to an end, thus demanding a "Performance Certificate", from her father, but from Ramachaari, not from the Company Manager where she works. Charulatha tries every trick in the book to forcefully get a certificate from Ramachaari, in order to become the CEO of her dad's company, but fails every time.
A few days later, Ramachaari's sister-in-law is revealed to be suffering from Cancer, which needs at least INR 40 lakhs for her operation, which worries everyone. Narayana Shastri then checks her horoscope, and tells everyone that she will not die soon, but after everyone goes away for dinner, he tells himself that, she will die as predicted by doctors very soon due to Cancer. Then, Ramachaari tries to get loan from a known person, but Charu plots a drug case against him, and makes him end up in prison, while it is also shown that Charu's mother had bribed the police to arrest Ramachaari. When Ramachaari gets to know about this through the help of other police working in the same station. Then, he fakes a kidnap of the cop's daughter, which forces him to arrest Manyatha. Then, later Ramachaari comes to the station and releases her. When Ramachaari kept thinking of ways to get 40 lakhs, for the operation of his sister-in-law, he learns of a new project under the name "Kalpana Villas", which happens to be a high-profit project. He manages to get the project, while Charu intervenes and takes up the project too. Then, Ramachaari gets a plan, and goes to Chitradurga. While Charu steals his idea and follows him till there. When Charu is about to kill Ramachaari by throwing a huge stone at him, she slips and falls from the cliff. Fearing to this, Ramachaari goes and helps her, eventually both of them, get saved but, find themselves in a forest. Then, after they both come out, from there. Ramachaari gets wounded by local thugs, while Charu is abducted by them. Then, he goes and saves her. The next day, they both think about the project in their own ways, but Ramachaari would have almost finished the project. Enraged, by this Charu sets out to do a cunning heist, and becomes nearly successful in getting the project, and submitting the following day. But Ramachaari does not get to know about this, due to his absence after his project went missing. Meanwhile, Manyatha hatches a plan to murder Jayashankar's first wife, but her plan backfires, resulting in Charu getting trapped in a forest, then several events lead Manyatha to beg Narayana Shastri to help him, and Ramachaari sets out in the forest, as he knew about the forest since his childhood. After a long time, he finds Charu unconscious in the corner of an abandoned house deep inside the forest, then he takes her to the hospital, where the doctors declare her as dead. He gets deeply distressed and feels guilty for her death. Just as she was being taken to the cemetery, tears in her eyes, spotted by Ramachaari, causes him to check back her, and when the doctors re-examine her, she is found to be out of danger. This eventually, causes Charu to get a sense of bonding with Ramachaari. She begins to have feelings for her. She then plans a proposal, for the same, and tells Ramachaari (who had gone to collect money for his sister-in-law's operation), to come to a specific location. As Ramachaari reaches, he is startled seeing all the decoration, and he questions her, about this. Just as she unveils the banner, containing the words "I Love you", Ramachaari, he gets a call, from his home, that his sister-in-law in no more. And he rushes to the hospital, where Aparna is declared dead.
The next day, everyone performs her rites, and later, when the office colleagues arrive, one of them reveals that Charu is the sole cause of Aparna's death, because she had stolen the project, that he had to do. This angers Ramachaari, and he scolds her badly, in front of his sister-in-law's dead body. She gets deeply disturbed, and tries to take her life, by falling off a hill, but is saved by her friend. Later, it is also told that, Aparna was pregnant, through a letter she had written prior to her death, which also causes deep anger in her husband. He vows to kill Charu, for killing his wife. Meanwhile, Charu is deeply angered at home. The following morning Kodanda, and Charu both go missing, and Kodanda is found to be getting his hair cut, in the backyard. When Kodanda, is about to stab Charu, Ramachaari calls her, thereby telling that his brother has come to her room, but again Kodanda is attacked by Charu's mom, soon. Then, the following day Charu goes to the police station to save Kodanda, by blackmailing her mom, by shooting her hand, after stealing the police's gun. The next day, Ramachaari vows to avenge his sister-in-law's death, thus he tells an anonymous person and executes a plan, the following day.
He first kidnaps Manyatha to an undisclosed location and disguising himself to be an enemy of her husband, tells that he'll kill her, and later when Charu is summoned, Ramachaari comes and reveals he was the one behind this, and did to make them understand an important lesson. Days pass by, and Charu's love gets more and more stronger, and she finally proposes her love, but Ramachaari rejects her. Despite this, she does not lose hope. She disguises herself, as Shailu, a call center worker, to impress him, and also saves his sister, from a local later the following day. The next day, Ramachaari meets Shailu (Charu dressed in traditional wear), and thus gives her a saree, given by her sister. Days pass by, and Charu's love keeps growing, while in office. But every time, Ramachaari wants to meet Shailu, Charu disguises herself and goes. A critical time, arrives when Shailu is asked by Ramachaari's grandmother for marrying her grandson [not mentioning his name], causing further problems. Later, Ramachaari, out of mere accident, pulls her into a room away, causing some chemicals to react with her eyes, during a chemical factory visit, which was scheduled to be demolished by its owner. The doctors notify that Charu has lost her eyesight, and she is blind till death. After office colleagues accuse him of his mistake, he feels sad, and in return takes Charu to his home until her blindness was cured, while he speaks to the doctor's friend who is in US and has just found a new cure for blindness. On the same day, Kodanda throws Charu out of his house, and she eventually falls into a well, but Ramachaari saves her, and vows to take care of her, as long as she stays there, by slapping his brother inadvertently. The next day, he calls up Shailu, to talk about the incidents occurring, and she consoles him. Then, the next day a special doctor arrives from US to treat her, and when the bandage is removed, to Ramachaari's shock, she says she cannot see anything, and the doctor tells Ramachaari that she has lost her eyes permanently, Soon after that, Manyatha arrives there and searches for Charu, but she escapes from her by help of Deepa and others. But soon she gets caught and Manyatha learns that her daughter is blind and takes her home.
Manyatha also learns that her daughter has lost her eyesight permanently. Hence, to avenge her anger, goes and tries to burn Ramachaari and his family alive, which is when Charu comes and saves them. Meanwhile, Vihan disagrees with Charu to marry her as well. This deeply saddens Manyatha. On the other hand, Ramachaari meets a godly man, whom we met 10 years ago, when he was young, who instructs him to go to a divine place in Chikmagalur, hence he takes Charu there, but the Swamiji at the ashram says that she needs to do extra-hard work to get her eyes back to which she agrees. But, despite the fact she is able to see, she lies at the end that she cannot see [because of her love towards Ramachaari]. While returning back, Ramachaari takes her to a hilly region, where Charu asks him if he will protect her throughout her life. After that, by a twist of events, Ramachaari marries Charulatha on spot. On the other hand, Narayana Shastri returns back home, which makes everyone happy. But he gets deeply saddened by his daughter-in-law's death in his absence. Ramachaari's strange behavior after coming back home increases suspicion in his family member's minds.
Jayashankar's business competitor Prakash Baneri's son Vikas Baneri is decided to be the bridegroom for Charu. But, it is soon revealed that Prakash has evil plans (marry his son on the pretext that he would become the head of Jayashankar's company and loot his property. As no one is aware of this, Charu's family plans for her engagement ceremony. But she convinces Ramachaari to do the flower customs in her house (it proceeds as expected by her). This also angers her fiancée. Few days later, Shruthi notices a 6-strand sacred thread on her brother Ramachaari. This startles him, and he somehow escapes from the questions bombarded by his family. The next day, Charulatha's fiancée arrives at office, and begins to ask tips from Ramachaari to impress Charulatha, resulting in many hilarious situations for him. Then, his plan reverses, and Charulatha gets impressed to Ramachaari, and hugs him in front of Vikas. This enraged Vikas even more.
The next day, Charu decides to go to a temple with him, which is believed to strengthen the relationship between the husband and wife. So, she decides to do with her (now married) husband Ramachaari. But, coincidentally, the same day, his family members and Vikas (believing it is a surprise by his fiancée). are planning to go there. But unknowingly Ramachaari and Charulatha go to the temple together. But some person tells Ramachaari's family that he saw Ramachaari. But as soon as Ramachaari hides with Charulatha, with the help of Murari, his father comes there, and gets shocked by seeing something. It is then revealed that Ramachaari's brother had secretly married someone else, without telling anyone. And this shocked everyone. Now, the newlywed couple are welcome home (with no blessings from Narayana Shastri). After witnessing this, Ramachaari decides to ask Charulatha to leave him by divorcing him. But she resists strongly. Ramachaari decides yet again to care more for his family than his wife. On his birthday, Charulatha plans a surprise visit to his home, and sneaks into his home. But the situation gets worse as Vaishaka sees them and almost reveals their secrets, but Charu cleverly averts it, and thereby makes a narrow escape. The following day, Ramachaari and Charulatha meet a park, and Charu threatens Ramachaari not to abandon her, and drinks poison as soon as he leaves, despite the fact Murari suggests him not to leave. But a heedless Ramachaari does not listen and go back home. Vaishaka keeps an eye on Ramachaari's actions. Whilst, Charu gets admitted to the hospital and the cops arrive soon and get to know that Ramachaari is the reason Charu drank poison, Ramachaari does not answer any phone calls. The cops arrive at Ramachaari's house and arrest him, while Kodanda does not do anything. Meanwhile, Narayana Shastri arrives at the hospital, and go inside to see the girl who caused this arrest. But Charu replaces herself with a nurse and escapes from Ramachaari's parents. But, she reveals that to Ramachaari that she had accidentally sent the "suicide" video to his brother Kodanda and sister Shruthi. Ramachaari rushes home only to realize that Vaishaka has Kodanda's phone. As the video starts playing and Vaishaka learns the truth, Murari creates a huge noise, and distracts her, while Ramachaari deletes the video from the phone. But the video still present in Shruthi's phone remains a worry. He, then goes at night, and snatches her phone. The next morning, Shruthi starts talking to Ramachaari in a strange manner, revealing that she has seen the video of Charu, the same night. The next day, Shruthi meets Deepa and strongly requests for her a marriage as early as possible with Ramachaari. Deepa initially does not agree, but later agrees. Deepa goes with her parents and forces Ramachaari's father to set a date for her engagement. But, Charu arrives at the place and learns that Ramachaari's and her engagement are on the same date. Meanwhile, Vaishaka causes more problems at Ramachaari's house deepening the worry. Charu learns this through Murari and decides to teach her a lesson. Thus, she goes to meet Vaishaka near a temple and warns her. Vaishaka concocts a plan to get video evidence which evinces that Ramachaari and Charulatha are married. She succeeds in doing so as well. The next day happens to be Charu's engagement.
On the day of her engagement, her mother decides to make it a marriage (because she had picked up a call from Ramachaari the previous night, in which he says something about their "marriage", causing suspicion). Ramachaari learns this and helplessly continues with the usual customs of marriage after Vikas's father announces that he wants the marriage to happen there itself. Charu in tears pleads Ramachaari to do something, but in vain. Just as Vikas is about to tie the nuptial chain to Charu, Vaishaka and her sister Kushi arrive and avert the marriage. Angered by this, Manyatha and Jayashankar question her, and she reveals that Charulatha is already married and she knows about her husband's whereabouts. thereby telling that Ramachaari is Charu's husband. Meanwhile, Narayana Shastri also questions her as to why she is accusing Ramachaari of such a big mistake. He also questions as her to what evidence does she have to show that Ramachaari is married to Charu? For this, she plays the video she had taken a few days ago, and as everyone gets shocked, Ramachaari and his wife get really frightened. Despite Ramachaari and Charu's repeated efforts to explain what actually happened during their marriage, no one pays heed to them and then Narayanachaari kicks out Ramachaari of his house. After this, Charu's dad realized his daughter's true love for Ramachaari and takes her to her husband's home. There, Charu learns that her sister-in-law Vaishaka had planned out everything and revealed their video on the Marriage day. She devises a masterplan to get inside the house, in which she succeeds and they both get into the house. Although they get permission to get inside the house, they do not get get the same love and affection instead. Charu tries her best to convince her father-in-law to allow them to have food in the house. While in office, Ramachaari is well served by while beloved wife. Manyatha tries to dissolve the relationship between Charu-Ramachaari, but in vain. As days pass by, Jayashankar tries to lock Manyatha in a room, but she easily escapes out pretending that she has changed. A small argument between Charu & Vaishaka erupts resulting in a challenge that Charu has to complete failing which she will be thrown out of the house. After Ramachaari learns the devious plan of his sister-in-law, he helps his wife in completing the task [Cooking] via Bluetooth earbuds. When Vaishaka tries to expose it, she fails. But she spoils the food that has been prepared by Charu by adding more spices.
As months pass by, Ramachaari is impressed by Charu and her changed attitude. Charu 's mother in law and sister in law start to love and support her. Her father in law understands her situation and apologises her.
At the Narayana Shastri Pooje, Charu and Ramachaari decide to arrange a big event. They use their money to plan everything but Vaishaka steals the money. Charu takes a loan from her friend and arranges the event. But her mother, Manyatha, creates a scene at the Pooje, that Charu used her father's name to arrange the event, causing everyone including Ramachaari to get angry at her. Narayanchar Shastri suffers a heart break. When family members, realise that Charu is innocent in this matter, they forgive her. As Narayanachaari is recovering, Vaishaka wishes to kill him for money. As she tries to kill him she reveals in front of him as how she is the one who creates problems in the house, and that his younger daughter in law Charu is innocent and loyal. This shocks Narayanachaari. As Vaishaka thinks that she has killed her father in law, the doctor arrives and says that he is still alive but he is not able to speak creating shock. After knowing that Vaishaka is the culprit, and Charu is innocent, how will Narayanchaari behave in the house? Will his attitude towards Charu change?
