Ramen Deka (born 1 March 1954) is an Indian politician currently serving as the 8th Governor of Chhattisgarh. [1] He was a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He was a Member of Parliament,Lok Sabha in 15th Lok Sabha and 16th Lok Sabha . He represented Mangaldoi (Lok Sabha constituency). He is a former National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party [2] and President of the BJP Assam.
Ramen Deka has appointed as Governor of Chhattisgarh by President Droupadi Murmu on 27 July 2024. [3]
