Reindeer Games is the debut album by the Killjoy Club, a hip hop supergroup consisting of Insane Clown Posse (Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope) and Da Mafia 6ix (DJ Paul, Crunchy Black & Koopsta Knicca). The album was released by Psychopathic Records on September 2, 2014.

Background

In March 2014, DJ Paul announced Da Mafia 6ix and Insane Clown Posse would release a collaboration album in August 2014. [1] In July 2014, during the Insane Clown Posse 2014 GOTJ seminar, it was announced that they had formed a group with Da Mafia 6ix called The Killjoy Club and that their debut album, titled Reindeer Games, would be released on September 2, 2014. [2]

DJ Paul had stated that The Killjoy Club collective was originally slated to be himself, Insane Clown Posse and Houston based rapper Scarface. No specifications were given on why this lineup changed. [3]

Promotion

In August 2014, it was announced Insane Clown Posse and Da Mafia 6ix would be going on tour to promote the album, but doing their own respective sets. They toured with Mushroomhead, Madchild and JellyRoll titled ShockFest, starting on September 25, 2014, and ending on October 31. [4] On August 14, 2014, the track listing was released, the album features guest appearances from Young Wicked aka Otis of Axe Murder Boyz, Sugar Slam, Big Hoodoo and Boondox. [5]

Psychopathic Records is an American independent record label headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The label is most associated with the hip-hop music subgenres horrorcore and rap rock. The label was founded in 1991 by Alex Abbiss and hip hop group Insane Clown Posse. The iconography of a man with a meat cleaver has been used for years as a symbol of the group, its fanbase, and its associates.

Insane Clown Posse, often abbreviated as ICP, is an American hip hop duo. Formed in Detroit in 1989, ICP's best-known lineup consists of rappers Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope. Insane Clown Posse performs a style of hardcore hip hop known as horrorcore and is known for its elaborate live performances. The duo has earned two platinum and five gold albums. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the entire catalog of the group had sold 6.5 million units in the United States and Canada as of April 2007. The group has established a dedicated following called Juggalos numbering in the "tens of thousands".

Hypnotize Camp Posse is the only studio album by the Hypnotize Camp Posse, a collaboration between Three 6 Mafia and members of its label, Hypnotize Minds. The Hypnotize Camp Posse group is essentially a larger or "broader" form of Three 6 Mafia, as it includes all the members of Three 6 Mafia as well as all the artists signed to Hypnotize Minds. All the artists featured on the album were Hypnotize Minds artists with the exception of guest artist Pastor Troy, a member of the Atlanta-based group D.S.G.B.. The album was released by Loud Records and Hypnotize Minds on January 25, 2000, and distributed through RED Distribution.

F.T.F.O.M.F. is the second solo studio album by American rapper Shaggy 2 Dope. It was released in 2017 through Psychopathic Records. Production was handled by DJ Clay and Shaggy 2 Dope himself. It features the lone guest appearance from Violent J. The album debuted at No. 72 on the US Billboard 200, No. 39 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, No. 18 on the Top Album Sales and topped the Independent Albums chart.
