Restless has received mostly negative reviews from critics. Allmusic focused heavily on similarities to the Killers and a lack of originality. [4] The AU Review gave another negative review, saying "Unfortunately after "Faded White Dress", the CD starts to sound all too the same. Catchy songs, yes, but nothing to really make me overly excited", before going on to describe a lack of versatility and other shortcomings. [5] Only a fan review in Future Entertainment gave the album seven stars, posting that "It’s almost unnatural to inhibit yourself, and not start moving to the sounds of album." [8]

Innocent Eyes is the debut studio album by Australian singer Delta Goodrem, released in Australia on 24 March 2003. It was later released in the United Kingdom on 30 June 2003. Goodrem co-wrote most of the material, excluding "Throw It Away", "Lost Without You" and "Butterfly". The album features two self-penned songs, "In My Own Time" and "Will You Fall for Me". Goodrem worked with writers and producers such as: Audius Mtawarira, Bridget Benenate, Cathy Dennis, Eliot Kennedy, Gary Barlow, Jarrad Rogers, Kara DioGuardi, Vince Pizzinga and others to create the album with a collection of piano-based pop and ballad tracks.
Australian Idol was a televised talent contest, screened on Channel Ten for seven seasons between 2003 and 2009. Several contestants were signed to record labels, while others released their music independently. Since 2003 Australian Idol acts have placed well on the Australian music charts, with 35 number ones and 158 platinum and 41 gold certifications. Eight Idol releases appeared in the 2000 – 2009 ARIA End of Decade Charts, and 24 releases have been nominated for Highest Selling ARIA Music Awards. Idol contestants have also been nominated for 33 ARIA Awards in public vote categories, where the nominees are most commonly selected from the highest selling acts of the year. It Won't Be Soon Before Long is the second studio album by American pop rock band Maroon 5. It was released on May 16, 2007, by A&M Octone Records, as the follow-up to their debut album, Songs About Jane (2002). The name was inspired by a phrase the band adopted to keep themselves motivated while on their tour.
Who I Am is the first album by singer Amy Pearson released by Sony BMG in Australia on 19 April 2008. Although the album was planned for release in November 2007, it had been pushed back due to the releases of Delta Goodrem's and Kylie Minogue's albums during the same time. However the album was released in China around the original release date. It has so far released 3 singles in Australia without the help of the album release, "Don't Miss You", "Not Me" and "Ready to Fly". All three have received moderate airtime on Australian mainstream radio stations.
Australian pop duo The Veronicas have released five studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, three extended plays, twenty-four singles, fifteen music videos and two video albums. Their debut studio album, The Secret Life Of..., was released in Australia in October 2005. Influenced by pop rock, pop punk and teen pop genres, the album was successful in Australia, where it reached number two and gained quadruple Platinum certification from the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). The album's lead single, "4ever", peaked at number two on the Australian Singles Chart and became a top-twenty hit in countries such as Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Stan Walker is an Australian-born New Zealand singer, actor, and television personality. In 2009, Walker was the winner of the seventh season of Australian Idol. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. In December 2009, Walker released his debut studio album, Introducing Stan Walker, which included the hit single, "Black Box". The album debuted at number three on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and was certified platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). It also appeared on the New Zealand Albums Chart at number two and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ).
Wall of Soundz is the third studio album from Irish singer-songwriter, Brian McFadden. It was released in Australia on 23 April 2010. The album debuted on the ARIA Albums Chart at #27, its highest peak to date, and spent only three weeks in the ARIA top 50. The album produced McFadden's second Australian number one single, "Just Say So", which features American rapper, Kevin Rudolf and gained a platinum accreditation, as well as the second single, "Chemical Rush" which peaked within the ARIA top 15.

Amy Meredith were an Australian pop band who released a self-titled EP in 2008. In 2009, having already been dropped from their label Tsubi/Ksubi, Amy Meredith signed a deal with Sony Music Australia, and released their debut single Pornstar. Much later, in March 2010, Amy Meredith released their second single, Lying, which peaked at No. 10, making it their only top 10 single. Their debut album, Restless was released on 2 July 2010 and reached No. 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album was met with extremely negative reviews and shortly afterwards Sony terminated their deal with the band, so Amy Meredith turned to Vector Management for a distribution deal.
Jason Derulo is the debut studio album by American singer Jason Derulo, released on February 26, 2010. The album was produced by J.R. Rotem and features the hit singles, "Whatcha Say", which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100; "In My Head" and "Ridin' Solo", which marks Derulo's third consecutive number-one in the UK R&B Chart.

It was released digitally on 23 April 2010 and physically on 18 June 2010 "Lying" debuted on the ARIA Singles Chart at number 27, before reaching its highest peak to date at number 10 in its fourth week, making it their only top ten single on the charts. It spent five weeks in the ARIA top twenty and 14 weeks in the top 50 and gained platinum accreditation. On other Australian charts, the single has peaked at number 2 on the Australian Singles Chart, at number 12 on the ARIA Digital Tracks Chart and has reached number 1 on the ARIA Physical Singles Chart.
Altijan Juric, best known by his stage name Altiyan Childs, is an Australian singer-songwriter. He was the winner of the second season of The X Factor Australia in 2010, and subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia.
New Eyes is the debut studio album by English electronic music group Clean Bandit, released on 30 May 2014 by Atlantic Records in Germany and Ireland, and 2 June 2014 in the United Kingdom, after suffering from several setbacks. The album includes the singles "A+E", "Mozart's House", "Dust Clears", "Rather Be", "Extraordinary" and "Come Over". New Eyes was produced entirely by group members Jack Patterson and Grace Chatto. The album peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart and was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for shipments in excess of 100,000 copies. It is the band's only album to feature violinist and pianist Neil Amin-Smith, who left the band in 2016.

In December 2012, the group released their debut single "A+E", which peaked at number 100 on the UK Singles Chart. The song is the lead single from their debut album, New Eyes, which was released in May 2014. The album's second single, "Mozart's House", charted at number seventeen on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Clean Bandit's first top twenty single on the chart. "Dust Clears" was released as the third single from the album, reaching number forty-three on the UK chart. The album's fourth single, "Rather Be", features Jess Glynne and topped the UK Singles Chart, the group's first number one on the chart.
Madness is the seventh album from Australian singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian. The album was released on 21 November 2014. It debuted at number six on the ARIA Charts, Sebastian's eighth top ten album in Australia, and has been certified gold. Four top 20 singles have been released from the album: "Like a Drum", "Come Home with Me", "Mama Ain't Proud" featuring 2 Chainz and "Linger" which features Lupe Fiasco. Sebastian was nominated for two ARIA Music Awards in 2014, Best Male Artist for "Come Home with Me" and Song of the Year for "Like a Drum".

The Secret Daughter: Songs from the Original TV Series is the first individual soundtrack album by Australian recording artist Jessica Mauboy, featuring music used in the television series of the same name, which stars Mauboy. The 17-track album includes five original songs by Mauboy along with covers of past and contemporary songs. The album debuted atop the ARIA Albums Chart and became Mauboy's first individual number-one album. She also became the first indigenous artist to debut at number one on that chart.
Speak Your Mind is the debut studio album by English singer Anne-Marie, released on 27 April 2018 by Major Tom's and Asylum Records. Anne-Marie announced the album on 21 February 2018 and it was made available for pre-order two days later. The album was preceded by the release of seven singles and features collaborations with Marshmello, Clean Bandit, David Guetta and Sean Paul.
