Reverend Juuso Shikongo Senior Secondary School is a Namibian public school in the Omuntele Constituency in the Oshikoto Region about 60 kilometres southeast of Ondangwa, which was in 2013 inaugurated by then Education Minister Dr David Namwandi. [1] The school is named after the founder of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia 's Omuntele congregation, Reverend Juuso Shikongo, the school started operating from a sister school, Uukule Senior Secondary School situated at Onyaanya Constituency some 30 kilometres away, in 2011 before moving to Omuntele at the beginning of the year 2013. In his official inauguration address, the education minister David Namwandi pointed out that Government has spent N$120 million (Namibian Dollars) on the construction of classrooms, offices and hostels for the school. Iyambo was a member of both the Central Committee and Political Bureau of the SWAPO Party and the chairperson of its Think Tank.

Onayena Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. It has 15,684 inhabitants; its district capital is the settlement of Onayena. Currently the Councillor of Onayena is Natangwe Indongo, a former school teacher at Nehale Senior Secondary School. The Constituency's population has grown significantly over recent years, dominated by the Ovambo language speaking people and a small group of San people.

Gabriel Taapopi Senior Secondary School, also known as GT, is a governmental secondary school in Ongwediva in the Oshana Region of northern Namibia. The school opened its doors in 1988 and was officially inaugurated in 1989 by then SWAPO deputy education minister Buddy Wentworth. It is named after Gabriel Taapopi. Its principal is Eelu Sakaria. The school is one of the top performing schools in the country. It has around 800 learners and about 30 teachers. The school features a large computer laboratory, physical science and biology labs as well as sports grounds.
Delta Secondary School Windhoek (DSSW) previously known as Deutsche Oberschule Windhoek, is a government secondary school in Namibia. Situated in the capital Windhoek, it was separated from its younger counterpart Delta School Windhoek (DSW), formerly known as German School Windhoek, in January 1975.
Shikongo Iipinge Senior Secondary School is a school in Tsandi in the Omusati Region in Namibia. Currently it has 442 students and 20 teachers. It was founded by Chris Iipinge, circuit inspector and first principal of the school, in 1985.
The Omaheke Regional Library is located in Gobabis, Namibia, and was opened to the public on November 25, 2014, and dedicated on that day by Minister of Education, Dr. David Namwandi. The library is one of three regional libraries. These libraries are also known as Regional Study and Resource Centers (RSRCs), and were funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation at a cost of N$167 million.
Dr Abraham Iyambo Senior Secondary School is a school in the Ohangwena Region of northern Namibia, situated c. 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Eenhana. The school's original name was Oshikunde Senior Secondary School after the Oshikunde Constituency in which it is situated. After a major renovation in September 2014 it was renamed after the former Minister of Higher Education Abraham Iyambo. Dr Abraham Iyambo SSS is a government boarding school catering for grades 11 and 12. In 2014 it had 404 learners.
Rev. Juuso Niilonga Shikongo was a Namibian teacher, priest, activist and notable public servant, he is well-known for having risked his life on several occasions for the welfare of his community and the Independence of Namibia.
