The Kumbia Kings are a Mexican-American Cumbia group from Corpus Christi, Texas, created by A.B. Quintanilla. Their music encompasses the styles of Cumbia, Hip Hop, and R&B. They produce songs in both Spanish and English. The producers for the band are Quintanilla— the brother of the late "Queen of Tejano", Selena— and Cruz Martínez. Quintanilla played bass guitar for the group, while Martínez, husband of international artist Alicia Villarreal, played keyboards. Both co-wrote songs for the Kumbia Kings.
Selena y Los Dinos was an American Tejano band formed in 1981 by Tejano singer Selena and her father Abraham Quintanilla. The band remained together until the murder of Selena in 1995, which caused the dissolution of the band in the same year. When Selena was signed with EMI Latin, EMI president José Behar told Selena that "the world wanted Selena, not Selena y Los Dinos." Selena then began releasing her solo studio albums under her name and her own logo title Selena instead of Selena y Los Dinos. Los Kumbia All Starz are an American musical group from Corpus Christi, Texas, created by A.B. Quintanilla. Kumbia All Starz are not to be confused with Los Kumbia Kings although some members are originally from Los Kumbia Kings. Their 2006 debut album Ayer Fue Kumbia Kings, Hoy Es Kumbia All Starz reached number one on United States Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart, number one on the Top Latin Albums chart, and number sixty-eight on the United States Billboard 200. The album spawned two charting singles, "Chiquilla" and "Parece Que Va a Llover" single sung by Ricky Rick.
Jason Cano, better known as DJ Kane, is an American singer who was the lead vocalist for the Latin Grammy award winning A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia Kings from 1999 to 2003 and A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia All Starz from 2008 to 2010 and went on to become a successful solo artist.
Los Super Reyes are an American musical group from Corpus Christi, Texas who play Mexican cumbia. The group was created by Cruz Martínez after he and A.B. Quintanilla had arguments over Martínez selling the group they were both in at the time, Los Kumbia Kings. A.B. Quintanilla left the group, which he had created, along with other members and created Kumbia All Starz. Cruz Martínez kept the remaining members of Los Kumbia Kings but changed the name to Los Super Reyes for legal issues.

The fan edition was released on October 2, 2007. He was a former singer for the band Kumbia Kings and was a lead singer for Kumbia All Starz, both created by A.B. Quintanilla. In early 2008, he left Kumbia All Starz to become a solo artist. His debut studio album Yo Soy was released on August 11, 2009.
La Vida de un Genio is the third studio album by Mexican-American cumbia group A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia All Starz and the seventh studio album by Mexican-American musician A.B. Quintanilla. It was released on July 27, 2010 by EMI Latin and Capitol Latin. A digital deluxe edition containing interviews by A.B. Quintanilla about the songs and two versions of "Hipnótika" was also released on the same day on online music stores. Enamorada de Ti is the second remix album by American Tejano singer Selena. It was released posthumously on 3 April 2012 through Capitol Latin and Q-Productions. Enamorada de Ti was produced by Sergio Lopes, Leslie Ahrens, Andres Castro, Moggie Canazio, Cesar Lemons and Chilean record producer Humberto Gatica. Gatica had the idea of modernizing songs recorded by Selena into today's popular music genres. Selena's family had already been working on a similar idea, but they set it aside in favor of Enamorada de Ti, which had gained the approval of Capitol Latin. The selection of artists to sing duets with Selena began in late summer 2011. Gatica and Selena's family chose American singer and actress Selena Gomez, Puerto Rican singer Don Omar, Samuel "Samo" Parra from the Mexican rock band Camila, Mexican singer Cristian Castro, Spanish DJ mixer Juan Magan, and the Carlos Santana band, while the remaining songs selected were remixed.

Abraham Isaac Quintanilla III, known professionally as A.B. Quintanilla III or A.B. Quintanilla, is an American record producer, songwriter and musician.
