The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup.
Nikola Grbić is a Serbian professional volleyball coach and former player who is currently serving as head coach for the Poland national team. Grbić is a gold medalist of the 2000 Summer Olympics, a bronze medalist of the 1996 Summer Olympics, and a multiple World Championship, European Championship, and World League medalist. He was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2016.
Gilberto Amauri de Godoy Filho, known as Giba, is a Brazilian former professional volleyball player who played as an outside hitter. For much of the 2000s, he was widely regarded as one of the best volleyball players in the world. During his professional career he played in Brazil, Italy, Russia, Argentina and briefly in the United Arab Emirates. He is mostly remembered for his successes with the national team.
Paweł Zagumny is a Polish former professional volleyball player. Zagumny was a member of the Poland national team in 1996–2014 and a participant in 4 Olympic Games. During his career, he won the 2014 World Champion title, 2012 World League, and the 2009 European Champion title.
Yoshie Takeshita is a retired Japanese volleyball player who played for JT Marvelous. She served as the head coach of Japanese volleyball team Victorina Himeji. and now serves as Executive Adviser.

Lloy James Ball is an American former volleyball player, a member of American national team in 1993–2008, a participant of the Olympic Games and gold medalist of Olympics Beijing 2008, gold medalist of the NORCECA Championship 2007 and World League 2008, silver medalist of the Pan American 1995, bronze medalist of the World Championship 1994, and 2015 inductee to the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. When not on the court actively playing the game, Ball operates Team Pineapple, a volleyball clinic that also features his father, Arnie Ball.
Sérgio Dutra dos Santos, known as Serginho or Escadinha is a Brazilian former volleyball player and four-time Olympian. As a member of the Brazilian national volleyball team, he won gold medals at the 2004 and 2016 Olympics, and silver medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Lindsey Napela Berg is an American retired volleyball player who last played for Fenerbahçe Istanbul in Turkey. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and played volleyball for the University of Minnesota. She played in three Olympic Games for the United States national team, winning two silver medals.
Maurício Camargo Lima is a retired volleyball player from Brazil. He won two Olympic gold medals with the Brazilian national volleyball team, the first against the Netherlands at the 1992 Summer Olympics and the second against Italy at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Naz Aydemir Akyol is a Turkish volleyball player. She plays as setter for Eczacıbaşı Dynavit and the Turkey women's national volleyball team. She has won a total of nine Turkish League championships, four with Vakıfbank, three with Eczacıbaşı and two with Fenerbahçe. She has four CEV Champions League championships, winning three with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe. She also has three FIVB Club World Championship, winning two with Vakıfbank and one with Fenerbahçe. She was part of the Turkey national team at the 2012 and 2020 Summer Olympics.

Ognjenović won gold with the national team at the 2018 World Championship, and the 2011/2019 edition of the European Championship, silver at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

He is a double silver medalist of the Olympic Games from Beijing 2008 and London 2012, World Champion, silver medalist of the World Championship 2014, multimedalist of the World League, South American Championship, World Cup and the Grand Champions Cup.
Hélia Rogério de Souza, nicknamed Fofão, is a retired Brazilian female volleyball player who competed for her country's national team in five consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992. She won a gold medal in 2008 and twice won a bronze medal, in 1996 and 2000. She also claimed the gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games.

He is the current coach of the female volleyball team Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube. Rezende is one of the most successful coaches in the history of volleyball, accumulating more than 30 major titles in a twenty-year career directing the Brazilian male and female teams.
Danielle Rodrigues Lins, better known as Dani Lins, is a volleyball player from Brazil, who plays as a setter. She represented her country at the FIVB World Grand Prix 2009 in Tokyo, Japan, where they won the gold medal. In 2012, she became an Olympic champion at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Micah Makanamaikalani Christenson is an American professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for Zenit Kazan and the U.S. national team. He was a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2018 World Championship; the 2014 World League and the 2015 World Cup winner.
Fernanda Porto Venturini is a former volleyball player from Brazil and a four-time Olympian. She competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where she won the bronze medal with the Brazilian women's national volleyball team. She is regarded as one of the best setters of all time.
