Ricardo Miles (born 9 September 1991), known professionally as Rimzee, is a British rapper and songwriter. He is from Clapton, East London. [1] Rimzee gained popularity in 2011 and released his debut mixtape The Upper Clapton Dream in 2012.

In 2022, Rimzee most recently released his acclaimed third mixtape, Cold Feet which peaked at number 11 on the UK Albums Chart. [2]

Music career

In 2010, Rimzee released his first video "2010 Freestyle / New York Minute Remix". He later released The Upper Clapton Dream with singles such as "Here I Am", "I'm On", "Keep Stackin'", "Everyday" and his cover of Adele's "Hometown" in 2012. [ citation needed ]

In July 2013, Rimzee was officially sentenced to 13 years in jail for shooting at an unmarked police car - curtailing his burgeoning music career. [3] He was released on licence after serving six-and-a-half years. [4]

Following Rimzee's return home from jail, in 2019, he released his second mixtape, Upper Clapton Dream 2 on 27 November 2020. The charting mixtape included features from Potter Payper, M24, Snap Capone and Haile (from WSTRN); with "Xabsi", "Lifestyle Cold", "Jada & Styles" and "Anything" being some of the standout tracks. Rimzee's Upper Clapton Dream mixtape series name was inspired by Black the Ripper's mixtape, The Edmonton Dream. [6]

In 2021, Rimzee released singles "PTSD", [7] "Split Decisions" [8] and "Expensive Pain" featuring Born Trappy, [9] leading BBC Radio 1Xtra to announce Rimzee as one of their Hot for 2022 artists on 14 December. [10]

Rimzee released his third official mixtape, entitled Cold Feet on October 14, 2022; featuring the likes of Giggs, Young Adz, Emeli Sandé and more. In the project's first week of release, it charted independently at number 11 - just shy of top 10 in the UK's Official Album Charts, [11] while being number 1 in the Official Hip Hop and R&B Album Charts [12] In November 2023, Rimzee released the single "The Game", featuring British rapper ArrDee. Business career

In 2021, Rimzee announced the opening of his fast food establishment, Burgers & Bagels, located in Fulham, South West London. [15] [16]

Kingdom Coming is an extended play (EP) by Scottish singer songwriter Emeli Sandé, released on 3 November 2017 by Virgin Records. Kingdom Coming is Sandé's third EP following 2013 iTunes Sessions and 2016's Live from London Bridge, and also follows Sandé's second studio album Long Live the Angels (2016). The EP features Harlem rapper Dave East, as well as collaborations with UK grime rappers Giggs and Wretch 32.

Wamp 2 Dem is a commercial mixtape by English rapper Giggs. It was released on 6 October 2017 by No BS Music, while the mixtape was distributed by Island Records. It succeeds Giggs' fourth album Landlord (2016), released a year and two months prior, and is Giggs' first release with a major label. The mixtape includes guest appearances from American rappers 2 Chainz, Young Thug and Lil Duke, alongside Dave, Footsie, D Double E, Popcaan and Donae'o. Production was handled by Cool & Dre, London on da Track, Zaytoven, The Fanatix, Bricks Da Mane and Chris Childs, among others.

Darren Diggs, known professionally as DigDat, is a British rapper from Deptford, London. His single "Air Force" peaked at number 20 on the UK Singles Chart following the release of the remix featuring Krept and Konan and K-Trap; this was the first time one of his tracks had entered the top 20. The single was released in December 2018, and was the only supporting single of his debut extended play, Caviar Dreams, which was released on January 18, 2019. He released his second EP Frienemy on September 6, 2019.

Rhys Angelo Emile Herbert, known professionally as Digga D, is a British rapper. He rose to fame in 2017 along with his UK drill collective CGM. His mixtapes Double Tap Diaries and Made In The Pyrex reached No. 11 and 3 on the UK Albums Chart, respectively. His third mixtape Noughty By Nature was released on 15 April 2022, debuting at number one on the UK Albums Chart. His fourth mixtape Back To Square One was released in August 2023.

Riley Jason Davies, known professionally as ArrDee, is a British rapper. His debut mixtape, Pier Pressure, was released on 18 March 2022. ArrDee has received numerous accolades, including silver, gold and platinum plaques from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for his string of successful tracks.

The reissue adds appearances from Black Sherif and Kyla.

Noughty by Nature is the third commercial mixtape by British rapper Digga D. It was released on 15 April 2022 by CGM. It features guest appearances from Still Brickin', Rack5, Dodgy, Horrid1, AJ Tracey, and Maverick Sabre, and American rappers B-Lovee, Moneybagg Yo, and Hotboii. The extended edition adds a further guest appearance from Arrdee. The mixtape debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, becoming Digga D's first number-one album.

Cian Francis William Wright, known professionally as Clavish, is a British rapper from Stamford Hill, London. He is currently signed to the German-British Universal subsidiary, Polydor Records. He is noted for his signature flow on trap and drill beats. In December 2022, Clavish earned his first UK Top 10 with the D-Block Europe-assisted "Rocket Science" which peaked at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. His first mixtape Rap Game Awful released on 13 January 2023 and debuted at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart.
