Shane Schuller (born 17 June 1994), better known as RiskyKidd, is a Greek rapper and songwriter.

Early life

RiskyKidd was born in London on 17 June 1994 to Jamaican/German parents.His mother is from Jamaica while his father is from Germany. At age 14 he moved to Athens, Greece and became a naturalized dual citizen. [1] He has been married for 10 years and has 2 kids.

Career

In 2014, RiskyKidd and Freaky Fortune were chosen to represent Greece in that year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Rise Up". [2] [3] They finished in 20th place with 35 points.

In 2013 RiskyKidd was nominated for Video of the Year, Viral Song of the Year, Best Duet/Collaboration, and Best Dance Video at the MAD Video Music Awards for All the Time (Playmen song). He won the awards for Best Duet/Collaboration and Best Dance Video alongside Playmen, Elena Paparizou and Courtney. [4] He was again nominated for Best Duet/Collaboration at the MAD VMAs in 2017 alongside Demy on the "This is Love" music video. RiskyKidd has performed at the awards show on several occasions.

RiskyKidd has most often colaborated with Panik Records. After the COVID-19 pandemic Schuller began releasing music independently through Melody Gang, a joint venture with Gio Melody. His most recent album I Am Risky II was released in July 2023.

The tour took place during the summer of 2008, and kicked off at the National Stadium in Kalamata on July 2, 2008, ending in Athens on September 19, 2008. The final concert at Theatro Vrahon in Athens was recorded, and released as a bonus DVD on Vrisko To Logo Na Zo: Deluxe Edition titled Live in Concert. Overall, the concert tour was a moderate success for Paparizou, with an audience total of approximately 192,000 over 29 concerts and one sold-out venue. Alpha TV broadcast the concert on television on December 30, 2008 as part of their holiday music schedule.

"All the Time" is a song by the DJ duo Playmen, featuring Greek-Swedish singer Helena Paparizou, the rapper Riskykidd and Courtney who has collaborated with Helena in vocals since 2009. The song was performed for the first time at Mad VMA 2012 on June 20. The song contains a sample from Eddie Murphy's hit song, "Party All the Time".

Greece participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Alcohol Is Free", written by Elias Kozas and Stathis Pahidis. The song was performed by the band Koza Mostra featuring Agathonas Iakovidis. She is known for her collaborations with Elena Paparizou, Playmen and HouseTwins at the songs "All the Time", "Breakin' Me Up", and "Rhythm Is A Dancer" respectively.

The song was internally selected by the Greek broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) to represent Greece at the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Argo were announced as the Greek representatives in February 2016, a month before their song "Utopian Land" was presented.

Greece participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song "This Is Love" written by Dimitris Kontopoulos, Romy Papadea and John Ballard. The song was performed by Demy, who was internally selected by the Greek broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) to represent Greece at the 2017 contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Demy was announced at the Greek representative on 13 January 2017, while a national final was held in order to select the song she would perform. Three songs competed in the national final on 6 March 2017 and a combination of international jury voting and public voting selected "This Is Love" as the winning song.
