The Vesper Boat Club is an amateur rowing club located at #10 Boathouse Row in the historic Boathouse Row of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1865 as the Washington Barge Club, the club's name was changed to Vesper Boat Club in 1870.
Jochen Kühner is a German rower. At the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the men's lightweight four. He has also been world champion in this event, along with his brother Martin Kühner, Jost Schömann-Finck, and Matthias Schömann-Finck. He has also been world champion in the men's lightweight eight, and runner up in the men's lightweight pair, again with his brother.
Joshua Dunkley-Smith is an Australian former representative rower. He was a national champion, a dual Olympian, two-time silver Olympic medal winner, and won medals at five World Rowing Championships.
Peter Chambers is a British rower, and is the brother of fellow rower Richard Chambers. He is a World Champion in the men's lightweight double sculls and an Olympic silver medalist in the men's lightweight coxless four. He is also a decent coach at Marlow rowing club and is leading them to victory.
George Christopher Nash is a British rower. He is dual Olympian, dual Olympic medal winner and three time world champion.

John Smith is a South African rower. He won a gold medal in the Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, with teammates James Thompson, Matthew Brittain, and Sizwe Ndlovu. In 2014, he won the men's lightweight double sculls with Thompson at the World Championships, setting a world's best time. The pair also competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Lucas Tramèr is a Swiss rower. He won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's lightweight four, with Simon Schürch, Simon Niepmann and Mario Gyr. The team was coached by New Zealander Ian Wright. Tramèr has also won a number of gold medals at the World Rowing Championships. He also competed in the Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Mario Gyr is a Swiss rower. He won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's lightweight four with Lucas Tramèr, Simon Schürch and Simon Niepmann. The same team, coached by New Zealander Ian Wright, also won this event in the 2015 World Championships. He also competed in the men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth.
Martino Goretti is an Italian representative lightweight rower, a current (2019) world champion and a dual Olympian. He has represented at senior World Rowing Championships and World Rowing Cups consistently from 2005 to 2019. He is a four time world champion at the senior level who won three titles in Italian lightweight eights from 2005 to 2009 and then in 2019 won the lightweight single scull world title. He had previously won underage world championships as a junior and an U23.
Samuel Beltz is an Australian former lightweight rower. He is a 16-time national champion, a world champion and dual Olympian. He competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics and represented Australia at the premier world class regattas over a fifteen-year period from 1999 to 2014.
Todd Skipworth is an Australian former lightweight rower and triathlete. He was a nine-time national champion rower, a world champion and dual Olympian. His 2011 rowing world championship was won in the men's lightweight coxless four and he competed in that boat class at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.
Thomas Baroukh is a French rower. He competed in the Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing in 7th. At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the French lightweight coxless four that won the bronze medal. The same team, consisting of Baroukh, Franck Solforosi, Guillaume Raineau and Thibault Colard, also won the bronze medal at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and bronze at the 2015 European Rowing Championships. Baroukh's previous team, which included Solforosi, Raineau and Augustin Mouterde won the bronze at the 2013 and 2014 European Championships. Baroukh and Mouterde won the silver medal in the men's lightweight pair at the 2014 World Rowing Championships.
Roderick Chisholm is a British lightweight class former rower who represented both Great Britain and Australia at world championships. He is an Australian national champion, a World Champion and a dual Olympian who competed at the world class level in both sculls and in sweep-oared boats.

Simon Carcagno is an American rower who competed in lightweight rowing. He won a gold medal in the eights at the 2008 World Rowing Championships and placed third in the coxless pairs in 2003. He also won a silver medal in the coxless fours at the 2007 Pan American Games. He represented the United States as an alternate at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2008 Summer Olympics.
The United States National Women’s Rowing Team is a select group of elite female athletes who represent the United States in international rowing competitions. The team first competed at the Olympics in 1976 and has had a multitude of successes. The implementation of Title IX during the 1970s had a large and positive impact on women’s collegiate rowing, and allowed for a growth in interest and talent in order for the creation of the national team. The team is selected through a competitive, in-depth process that is facilitated by USRowing each year. Tom Terhaar has been the national women’s head coach since 2001, and has been a part of the team's success in the past decade. The team’s eight (8+) has won the gold medal at every summer Olympics since 2004, and won the World Rowing Championships from 2005 until 2016. The eight (8+) also presently holds the world record at 5:54.160.
