Edmundston is a city in Madawaska County, New Brunswick, Canada. Established in 1850, it had a population of 16,437 as of 2021.

Autoroute 85 is a Quebec Autoroute and the route of the Trans-Canada Highway in the province's Bas-Saint-Laurent region, also known as Autoroute Claude-Béchard. It is currently under construction with committed Federal and Provincial funding for its completion, with an estimated completion date of 2026. Once this upgrade is completed, it will close the last gap in the nearly continuous freeway section of the Trans-Canada between Arnprior, Ontario, and Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and for an even longer interprovincial freeway route between Windsor, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Running between Rivière-du-Loup and a junction with New Brunswick Route 2 at the Quebec-New Brunswick border, A-85 when complete will be the only controlled access highway link between the Maritime Provinces and the rest of the country. A-85 is projected to be approximately 100 km (60 mi) long when construction is complete and is intended to replace Route 185, which has been called one of the deadliest highways in Canada.
Thomas Baillairgé was both a wood carver and architect, following the tradition of the family. He was the son of François Baillairgé and the grandson of Jean Baillairgé, both men being termed architects under the definition of the time. The family had been based in Quebec since 1741 and Thomas attended English school and then the Petit Séminaire de Québec. During the latter time, he would also have begun to learn wood carving and architecture.
"Hélène" is a song by Canadian singer Roch Voisine. Written and composed by Voisine and Stéphane Lessard, with guitars played by Carl Katz and keyboards by Luc Gilbert, it was the first single from Voisine's debut studio album, Hélène, and was released in November 1989. The song is mainly in French but contains the English line "Hélène things you do / Make me crazy about you". The cover for the CD maxi used the same photograph as that of the album, Voisine's face with a black background. "Hélène" was successful in France, where it topped the singles chart for nine weeks, thus allowing Voisine to launch his international career.
