Rockstar is the second studio album by Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta. The album was released by Def Jam Recordings on 19 January 2018. [2] The album peaked at number one on the Italian Albums Chart and it stayed on top of the chart for four weeks. [3] Rockstar received 35 million streams on its first week on Spotify, [4] and Sfera Ebbasta was the first Italian artist to appear on the streaming platform's Top 100 global chart. [5] All of its 11 tracks entered on the first twelve positions of the Italian Singles Chart simultaneously. [6] A deluxe edition (titled Popstar Edition) was released on 30 November 2018. [7]

Gionata Boschetti, known professionally as Sfera Ebbasta, is an Italian rapper. He rose to prominence after the release of XDVR (2015), recorded with the collaboration of producer Charlie Charles and DEACC, which achieved commercial success in Italy. This success was replicated with Sfera Ebbasta (2016), Rockstar (2018) and its re-issue Popstar Edition (2018), and Famoso (2020). He was the best-selling artist in Italy of the 2010s and currently holds the record for most songs reaching #1 in the country (24).
Gioventù bruciata is the debut studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Mahmood. The album was released on Island Records on 22 February 2019. The album peaked at number one on the Italian Albums Chart. The album includes the singles "Uramaki", "Milano Good Vibes", "Asia occidente", "Gioventù bruciata" and "Soldi". Gioventù bruciata was first released as an extended play on 21 September 2018.
Paolo Alberto Monachetti, known professionally as Charlie Charles, is an Italian record producer and DJ from Milan. He started his career in 2015, releasing the collaborative album XDVR with rapper Sfera Ebbasta. In 2019, he co-wrote and co-produced the single "Soldi" for Mahmood, which won the 69th Sanremo Musical Festival.
Davide Mattei, known by his stage name thasup, previously tha Supreme, is an Italian rapper, singer and producer from Fiumicino.
Persona is the fifth studio album by Italian rapper Marracash, released on 31 October 2019 by Island Records and Universal Music Italia. The album originally consisted of 15 tracks. The single "Neon – Le ali", written and performed with Italian singer Elisa, was also composed for the album, but it was not completed on time. Despite not being included on Persona, the track was released as a single in March 2020, and added to the track listing of Persona's streaming version.
