Rodney D. Lewis is a retired United States Air Force major general who last served as the deputy director for force protection of the Joint Staff and the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization. Miller is the first Air Force Reserve officer to achieve the rank of general. She was also the first woman to serve as the Chief of Air Force Reserve. Major General Christopher Finerty is a United States Air Force officer and career helicopter pilot who has been serving as the Director, Legislative Liaison, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, since April 2019. The Directorate is the liaison between the Air Force, Space Force and Congress on all programs, air and space weapons systems and issues such as legislative and constituent inquiries. Finerty collaborates directly with the House of Representatives and Senate to ensure full authorization of the Air Force's annual budget.
