The Roewe iMAX8 is a minivan produced by SAIC Motor under the Roewe marque since 2020. It was revealed in September 2020 at Auto China.
The Roewe iMAX8 was first previewed by the Vision-iM concept at Auto Guangzhou in November 2019 under Roewe's Vision series of concept vehicles, [1] then as a more-detailed concept called iM8 at the Roewe Brand Day event in May 2020. [2]
The iMAX8 was revealed in September 2020 at the 2020 Auto China event in Beijing, China, as a production model with few changes from the iM8 concept. It is based on the all new SIGMA platform developed by SAIC Motor.
The iMAX8 is only available in petrol version at launch. The petrol version is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 172 kW (231 hp; 234 PS) mated to an Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission. [3] Production of the iMAX8 is planned to start in autumn of 2020. It is the first minivan under the Roewe brand.
The Roewe iMAX8 features include a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and keyless entry. [4]
The iMAX8 EV was launched in August 2022 with a slightly different grille compared to the gasoline version. The iMAX8 EV is powered by an electric motor with 180 kW and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The battery of the iMAX8 EV is a 90 kWh SAIC Rubik’s cube battery supporting a 550 to 570 km cruising range. The energy consumption is 16.7 kWh per 100 km. [5]
Roewe is a vehicle marque created by the Chinese automaker SAIC Motor in 2006, which focuses on luxury cars. Roewe vehicles were initially based on technology acquired from defunct British carmaker MG Rover. SAIC was unable to purchase the rights to the Rover brand name and created the Roewe marque as a replacement. It is sold in most export markets outside China under the MG marque.
The Volkswagen Up is a city car produced by the Volkswagen Group since 2011. It was unveiled at the 2011 International Motor Show Germany (IAA). Production of the Up started in December 2011 at the Volkswagen Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. A battery electric version, called E-up, was launched in autumn 2013. It is part of the part of the New Small Family (NSF) series of models, alongside the SEAT Mii and Škoda Citigo which are rebadged versions of the Up, with slightly different front and rear fascias, that were manufactured in the same factory before being withdrawn from sale in 2021 and 2020 respectively.
The Roewe 550 is a compact car that is produced by Roewe in China, and was launched at the 2008 Beijing Motor Show. The 550 was reported to be derived from the MG Rover RDX60 project which was under development when MG Rover failed.
The MG5 is a series of compact cars that has been produced by SAIC Motor under the MG marque since 2012. The first generation MG 5 was launched on 28 March 2012 in China, and shares the same automotive platform as the Roewe 350 saloon car.

The Roewe 950 is a large four door saloon that is produced by Roewe in China, and is based on the 2010 Buick LaCrosse. It was first shown to the public at the 2012 Beijing International Motor Show, and commenced production in April 2012.
Mercedes-EQ is a series of battery electric vehicles manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. The first model was previewed at the Paris Motor Show in 2016 with the Generation EQ concept vehicle. Mercedes-Benz intends to produce ten EQ models by 2022, three of which will have the Smart brand, representing between 15% and 25% of the company's global sales. All of Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle design and production efforts will target the EQ family.
The MG ZS is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Chinese automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor under the British MG marque. Announced at the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show in China, the MG ZS is the second SUV to be produced under the MG marque after the MG GS. It is positioned below the larger GS or HS, and above the smaller MG 3 hatchback. It is currently the brand's best selling model in international markets.
The Hyundai Kona is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai. The first-generation Kona debuted in June 2017 and the production version was revealed later that year. It is positioned between the Venue or Bayon and the Tucson in Hyundai crossover SUV line-up. The battery electric version called the Kona Electric was first launched in South Korea during the first half of 2018 and rolled out gradually worldwide afterwards.
The Roewe RX5 is a compact crossover SUV that is manufactured by SAIC Motor under the Roewe brand. The RX5 is available as a petrol-powered RX5 variant, a plug-in hybrid eRX5 variant and a pure electric ERX5 variant. The facelift model is called the RX5 Plus, and a slightly larger second generation model called the RX5 Max is sold alongside the RX5 Plus. The RX5 Max is available as a petrol-powered RX5 Max variant and a plug-in hybrid RX5 eMax variant. The RX5 Max was facelifted for the 2021 model year.

The Roewe i6 is a compact sedan produced by SAIC Motor under the Roewe brand, succeeding the Roewe 550. The Roewe ei6 is the hybrid version of the i6. The Roewe i6 was previewed by the Roewe Vision-R, that debuted during the 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show.
The Roewe i5 is a compact car produced by SAIC Motor since 2017. Available as a sedan and as an electric station wagon, the latter was first introduced via the electric station wagon version, the Roewe Ei5, the compact station wagon debuted on the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show.
The Roewe Marvel X is an electric compact crossover SUVs manufactured by the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Group under the Roewe brand. The Roewe Marvel X was launched in 2018 and was positioned above the Roewe RX5, and below the Roewe RX8. A revised version is marketed under separate brand Rising Auto as the Rising Marvel R, which is sold in left-hand drive European market as the MG Marvel R.

Originally launched as the GM8 in 2017, it was renamed in 2021 to simply M8 in China and GN8 in global markets. The completely redesigned second generation M8 was launched in 2022.

The Trumpchi M6 and the previous GM6 is a compact MPV manufactured by GAC Group under the Trumpchi brand in China and the GAC Motor brand globally as the GAC GM6 or the GAC GN6. The GM6 name was changed in 2020 to M6 in China and GN6 globally followed by the larger M8 minivan name change.
The Maxus Mifa 9 is an electric minivan produced by SAIC Maxus, which launched on the Chinese car market in November 2021. The Mifa 9 is based on the same platform as the later announced gasoline powered Maxus G90 MPV.
