The Roewe 950 is a large four door saloon that is produced by Roewe in China, and is based on the 2010 Buick LaCrosse. It was first shown to the public at the 2012 Beijing International Motor Show, [2] and commenced production in April 2012.
The strong relationship between the 950 and Buick LaCrosse is a result of the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture, with Roewe owned by SAIC Motor. The 950 is powered by a range of General Motors engines. [3] The four cylinder 2.0 litre produces 108 kW (147 PS; 145 bhp) @ 6,200 rpm and 190 N⋅m (140 lb⋅ft) @ 4,600, the four cylinder 2.4 litre produces 137 kW (186 PS; 184 bhp) @ 6,200 rpm and 240 N⋅m (177 lb⋅ft) @ 4,800 rpm.
The 3.0 litre V6 produces 190 kW (258 PS; 255 bhp) @ 6,800 rpm and 296 N⋅m (218 lb⋅ft) @ 5600 rpm, resulting in claimed a top speed of 215 km/h (133.6 mph). [4] The only transmission option is a six speed automatic.
In July 2015, a four cylinder 1.8L engine was offered that produced 136 kW (185 PS; 182 bhp) and 290 N⋅m (214 lb⋅ft) and with the TST6 transmission produced fuel economy of 7.6 litres per kilometre (0.37 mpg‑imp; 0.31 mpg‑US). [5] [6]
In July 2017, a major facelift was conducted on the 950, and the front view was updated to look in line with the later Roewe vehicles influenced by the Roewe Vision-R electric concept car. The rear view was also updated with new LED tail lamps and a horizontal chrome bar above the license plate. [7] [8]
The 950 plug-in hybrid fuel cell was unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. [9] The 950 Fuel Cell is a duel-power system consisting of a battery and a hydrogen fuel cell which produces 150 horsepower (110 kW) and has a range of 400 kilometres (250 mi) on the fuel cell which is extended with the battery to 430 kilometres (270 mi). [10] [11]
The 950 Fuel Cell become the first Chinese production fuel cell passenger vehicle when production commenced in 2016. [12] As of October 2019, a 50 vehicle demonstration fleet had been produced for leasing and for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) demonstration. The fleet had travelled more than 500,000 kilometers. [10] The 950 Fuel Cell was not offered to the public. [10] [13]
The e950 plug-in hybrid was unveiled in November 2015 at the Guangzhou Auto Show and was launched in April 2016 at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. [14] [15] The e950 has a SGE 1.4TGI turbocharged engine that produces 112 kW (152 PS; 150 bhp) and 235 N⋅m (173 lb⋅ft) with a hybrid system of two high-output electric motors, one 56 kW (75 hp) unit (TM) and another smaller motor (ISG) rated at 32 kW (43 hp) and a 11.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. [14] [16] The e950 has a driving range of 600 kilometres (370 mi) and is capable of fuel consumption as low as 1.7 litres per 100 kilometres (170 mpg‑imp; 140 mpg‑US). [14] [16] The e950 has a two speed automatic gearbox. [1]
In 2017, a e950 '2017 facelift' was released. [17]
The Chevrolet Sail is a subcompact car produced by SAIC-GM, a joint venture of General Motors in China. Launched in 2001, it was sold as the Buick Sail in China in both in sedan and wagon form which were both based on Opel Corsa B. Following the introduction of the Chevrolet brand in China in 2005, the car received a facelift and its name was changed to "Chevrolet Sail" and "Sail SRV".
The LDV Maxus is a light commercial van model, originally produced by LDV Limited. It was launched at the end of 2004. The model was jointly developed under the LD100 programme code by LDV and Daewoo Motor, prior to Daewoo entering receivership in November 2000, in a five year, £500 million development programme. It was intended to replace LDV's Convoy model, and Daewoo Motor Polska's Lublin II model. A narrower derivative sharing the bodysides of the SWB low-roof versions was partially developed under the BD100 codename to replace LDV's Pilot model, but this never reached production.

The Peugeot 408 is a compact car (C-segment) produced by Peugeot. It was unveiled on January 25, 2010, at the Beijing Auto Show and sales began in China on April 8, 2010. In November 2010, production of the 408 commenced in El Palomar, Buenos Aires, Argentina, with sales starting in April 2011.

It is the first compact marketed by Buick in the United States since the 1998 Buick Skylark. Verano is Spanish for summer.
The MG5 is a series of compact cars that has been produced by SAIC Motor under the MG marque since 2012. The first generation MG 5 was launched on 28 March 2012 in China, and shares the same automotive platform as the Roewe 350 saloon car.
The BYD Qin is a compact sedan produced by BYD Auto since 2012. The Qin started out as the plug-in hybrid version of the BYD Surui, and was introduced in the Chinese market in August 2012. Currently, the Qin is available as battery electric vehicle, as a plug-in hybrid and previously as an internal combustion engine vehicle.
The Trumpchi GS5 is a compact crossover produced by GAC Group under the Trumpchi brand. The first generation was sold from 2011 to 2017 with a facelift variant called the GS5 Super launched in 2014, while the second generation model was sold starting in 2018. A facelift for the 2021 model year was launched during the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, changing the name to Trumpchi GS4 Plus.

The RX5 Max is available as a petrol-powered RX5 Max variant and a plug-in hybrid RX5 eMax variant. The RX5 Max was facelifted for the 2021 model year.

The original Tiggo first debuted at the 2005 Shanghai Motor Show and was called the NCV, meaning New Concept Vehicle. It is the first product of the Chery Tiggo series. The original vehicle was facelifted in September 2010, and received the name change to Tiggo 3 and another facelift in 2014.
The Changan CS75 is a compact crossover SUV produced by Changan Automobile. Debuted during the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show and launched on the Chinese auto market in 2014, the original Changan CS75 received a facelift in 2018 and an additional PHEV model in the same year. The Changan CS75 Plus debuted on the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show and was launched on the Chinese auto market in 2019 while the original CS75 model remains in production and on the market. As of November 2020, the "Millionth Edition" first generation CS75 based on the 2018 facelift model was announced. The Roewe i5 is a subcompact car produced by SAIC Motor since 2017. Available as a sedan and as an electric station wagon, the latter was first introduced via the electric station wagon version, the Roewe Ei5, the compact station wagon debuted on the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show.
The Geely Borui GE is a mid-sized sedan produced by the Chinese automaker Geely since 2018. The fastback sedan provides two hybrid driving mode of mild hybrid and plug in hybrid. The model made its appearance in March 2018, and went on sale on 28 May in the same year.
JMEV is a joint venture headquartered in Nanchang, China, and owned by Groupe Renault, Jiangling Motors Corporation Group (JMCG) and China Agricultural Development Construction Fund Corporation. JMEV is focused on the development and production of electric cars and was established in 2015 as a subsidiary of JMCG. It was reorganised as a joint venture in July 2019, after Renault acquired a majority stake.
