Rose Aboaje (born 1977) is a Nigerian former sprinter who competed for Nigeria at national and international athletics competitions. She won the bronze and silver medals in the 100 metres and 200 metres events at the 1998 African Championships in Athletics. [1] [2]

Frank "Frankie" Fredericks is a former track and field athlete from Namibia. Running in the 100 metres and 200 metres, he won four silver medals at the Olympic Games, making him Namibia's only able-bodied Olympic medalist until Christine Mboma's silver medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. He also won gold medals at the World Championships, World Indoor Championships, All-Africa Games and Commonwealth Games. He is the world indoor record-holder for 200 metres, with a time of 19.92 seconds set in 1996.
Francis Obiorah Obikwelu, GOIH is a retired Nigerian-born Portuguese sprinter, who specialized in 100 metres and 200 metres. He was the 2004 Olympic silver medalist in the 100 metres. In the same race, he set the European record in the event at 9.86 seconds, which stood for nearly 17 years.

She is also the current Diamond league champion in the 100 metres hurdles having won the final in 12.33 seconds (+1.8m/s) achieving a winning streak in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Cecilia Francis is a Nigerian sprinter who specializes in the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 x 100 metres relay. Cecilia claimed gold alongside Blessing Okagbare, Lawretta Ozoh and Ngozi Onwumere in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 2015 All-Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo.
