Arlington County is a county in the Commonwealth of Virginia, often referred to simply as Arlington or Arlington, Virginia. In 2016, the county's population was estimated at 230,050, making it the sixth-largest county in Virginia, or the fourth-largest city if it were incorporated as such. It is the 5th highest-income county in the U.S. by median family income and has the highest concentration of singles in the region.
The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers, are twin skyscrapers. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)'s official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers in the world. The buildings are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Opened in 1990 near Monument Circle in Indianapolis, Salesforce Tower is the tallest building in the U.S. state of Indiana and is the 58th tallest building in the United States. It surpassed the AUL Tower in Indianapolis for the distinction. The building's twin spires pierce 811 feet (247 m) into the Indianapolis skyline, while the 49 floors of office and retail space and 2 building equipment floors above that peak at the 701-foot (214 m) roof. It is the regional headquarters of Salesforce, which moved into the tower in the late-2010's and currently occupies a large amount of space in the building. While the tower has two spires of equal height, only one of them is functional as a transmission antenna. The other mast is merely an architectural decoration. The building was designed by KlingStubbins, and built by Indianapolis-based Huber Hunt & Nichols.
Crystal City is an urban neighborhood in the southeastern corner of Arlington County, Virginia, south of downtown Washington, D.C. Due to its extensive integration of office buildings and residential high-rise buildings using underground corridors, travel between stores, offices, and residences is possible without going above ground; thus, a large part of Crystal City is an underground city.
Rosslyn is a heavily urbanized unincorporated area in Northern Virginia located in the northeastern corner of Arlington County, Virginia, north of Arlington National Cemetery and directly across the Potomac River from Georgetown and Foggy Bottom in Washington, D.C.

It is one of four interchange points on the Metrorail system west of the Potomac River and located in a growing business district.
Ballston is a neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia and is home to the Ballston-MU station on the Orange Line and the Silver Line of the metro system.
Clarendon is an urbanized, upper-class neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia, located between the Rosslyn area and the Ballston area. It was named after Edward Hyde, 1st Earl of Clarendon, a leading statesman and historian of the English Civil War. The main thoroughfares are Wilson Boulevard and Clarendon Boulevard.
Pentagon City is an unincorporated neighborhood located in the southeast portion of Arlington County, Virginia, near The Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery.
State Route 110 (SR 110) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. Known as the Jefferson Davis Highway, the state highway runs 2.41 miles (3.88 km) from U.S. Route 1 (US 1) and Interstate 395 (I-395) in Crystal City north to I-66 in Rosslyn within Arlington County. SR 110 is a four- to six-lane freeway that parallels the Potomac River, providing a connection between several of Arlington's urban villages. The state highway also provides access to the Pentagon, which is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense, the grounds of Arlington National Cemetery, and SR 27, an east–west freeway between the Pentagon and the cemetery. SR 110 is a part of the National Highway System for its entire length.
Court House, also known as Courthouse, is a transit-oriented neighborhood in Arlington County, Virginia. It is centered around the Court House stop on the Orange Line and the Silver Line of the Washington Metro.
Two Allen Center, also known as Devon Energy Tower, is a 521 ft tall skyscraper in Houston, Texas. It was completed in 1978 and has 36 floors. It is the 24th tallest building in the city. The tower houses offices for Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy Corporation.

Vlastimil Koubek was a Czech American architect who designed more than 100 buildings, most of them in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. When he died, he had designed buildings worth more than $2 billion. Most of his work is Modernist in style, although he developed a few structures in other vernaculars. He created the site plan for the redevelopment of Rosslyn, Virginia, and his Ames Center anchored the area's economic recovery. He also designed the World Building in Silver Spring, Maryland, which sparked redevelopment of that town's downtown and the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C. amongst many other buildings. In 1985, Washingtonian magazine considered him to be one of 20 people "who in the past 20 years had the greatest impact on the way we live and who forever altered the look of Washington." In 1988, The Washington Post newspaper said his Willard Hotel renovation was one of 28 projects in the area which made a signal contribution to the "feel" and look of Washington, D.C.
