Rushey Mead Academy, previously known as Rushey Mead School, is a mixed secondary school located in Leicester, Leicestershire, England for students aged 11 to 16. It is part of The Mead Educational Trust which also includes Orchard Mead Academy. It was named as the best state-funded secondary school in Leicester and Leicestershire in 2018. [1]
In its November 2007 Ofsted report, the school was rated "outstanding" for overall effectiveness. [2] In 2009, Ofsted highlighted it as one of 12 outstanding schools serving disadvantaged communities. [3]
The Real Schools Guide 2018 named Rushey Mead Academy the best state-funded secondary school in Leicester and Leicestershire. [4]

Silverdale School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It is the founding school of Chorus Education Trust. It opened in 1957 as a secondary modern school, and became a comprehensive school in 1969. It serves approximately 1,200 pupils from the local area, from ages 11 to 18. In 2004, Silverdale was placed 4th in Sheffield school performance exam league tables. In 2017, Silverdale students achieved the top A-level results of all state schools in the city.
