Ryan Willie (born 24 June 2002) is an American track and field athlete who competes over 400m. [1]

Early life

Willie lost his mother, Marla, to breast cancer in 2015. [2] He attended Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, where he excelled in track and field. [3]

Career

Running for the University of Florida, he ran a personal best time of 44.25 seconds for the 400m to finish second in the final of the NCAA Championships held in Austin, Texas in 2023. [4] [5]

Competing at the 2023 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, in Eugene, Oregon, he reached the final of the 400m competition with the third fastest time. [6] In July 2023, he competed in the 400m at the Diamond League events in Silesia and London. [7] [8] He was selected for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023. [9]

In April 2024, he was selected as part of the American team for the 2024 World Athletics Relays in Nassau, Bahamas. [10]

Michael Arthur Norman Jr. is an American sprinter. He previously held the world best time in the indoor 400 meters at 44.52 seconds. Outdoors, his 43.45, set at the 2019 Mt. SAC Relays is tied as the #4 on the all time list. In 2016, he became the world junior champion in both the 200 meters and 4×100 meter relay. In 2022, he became the world champion in both the 400 meters and 4x400 meter relay.

Setting four world records during 13 months, she was the first woman to break the 52-second and 51-second barriers in the 400 m hurdles. She won the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships.
