Surigao del Norte, officially the Province of Surigao del Norte, is a province in the Philippines located in the Caraga region of Mindanao. The province was formerly under the jurisdiction of Region 10 until 1995. Its capital is Surigao City. The province comprises two major islands—Siargao and Bucas Grande—in the Philippine Sea, plus a small area at the northeastern tip of mainland Mindanao and other surrounding minor islands and islets. This mainland portion borders Agusan del Norte – between the Municipality of Alegria in Surigao del Norte and the Municipality of Kitcharao in Agusan del Norte; and the province of Surigao del Sur, to the south.
Caraga, officially the Caraga Administrative Region and designated as Region XIII, is an administrative region in the Philippines occupying the northeastern section of Mindanao. The region was created through Republic Act No. 7901 on February 23, 1995. The region comprises five provinces: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur; six cities: Bayugan, Bislig, Butuan, Cabadbaran, Surigao and Tandag; 67 municipalities and 1,311 barangays. Butuan, the most urbanized city in Caraga, serves as the regional administrative center.

SM City Sta. Mesa, formerly known as SM Centerpoint, is a shopping mall located at Magsaysay Boulevard corner Gregorio Araneta Avenue, Barangay Doña Imelda, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the second SM Supermall, second in Quezon City, and the seventh SM branch developed and operated by SM Prime Holdings owned by Henry Sy, Sr. It has a land area of 3 hectares and has a gross floor area of an approximate 133,327 m2 (1,435,120 sq ft).
SM Southmall, is a large shopping mall in the Philippines, owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings. The mall is located along the busy Alabang-Zapote Road in Las Piñas. It is the first SM Supermall in Central Luzon and is currently the second largest shopping mall in the Northern and Central Luzon. The shopping mall is composed of the Main Building, Annex 1, Annex 2 and Annex 3.

It is the company's first shopping mall in the Philippines outside of Metro Manila and the fifth largest shopping mall in the Philippines. SM City Fairview is a large shopping mall in the Philippines owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings. It is located along Quirino Highway and Regalado Highway, Quezon City, Metro Manila. It is the third SM Supermall in Quezon City, after SM North EDSA and SM City Sta. Mesa. It has a land area of 202,000 square meters, a total gross floor area of 312,749 square meters (3,366,400 sq ft), making it the fifth largest SM Supermall within the country after SM City North EDSA, SM Megamall, SM Seaside City, and SM Mall of Asia as well as the sixth largest shopping mall in the Philippines, in terms of total floor area. Although it is named after the nearby Fairview area or barangay, it is located in Barangay Greater Lagro.
SM City Davao, also known locally as "SM Ecoland", is an indoor shopping mall in Quimpo Boulevard, Matina, Davao City, Philippines. SM Prime Holdings developed and manages the mall. It is the first SM Mall in the Mindanao region, opening to the public on November 17, 2001.
SM City Rosario is a shopping mall which was developed and is owned by SM Prime Holdings. It opened on November 20, 2009 and is the fourth SM Supermall in the province of Cavite, Philippines. It is located at General Trias Drive cor. Costa Verde Access Road, Tejeros Convention, in the town of Rosario. It has a gross floor area of 58,000 square metres (620,000 sq ft).
SM Seaside City Cebu, branded as SM Seaside City and also known locally as SM Seaside, is a large shopping mall owned and developed by SM Prime Holdings in South Road Properties, Cebu City, Philippines. The mall opened on November 27, 2015, exactly 22 years after SM City Cebu, another mall also owned by SM Prime in Cebu City, opened in 1993.
SM Lanang, is an indoor four-story shopping mall in Lanang, Davao City, Philippines along Jose P. Laurel Avenue and within S.P Dakudao loop. It was the first SM Supermall to be called "Premier"(now discontinued). The mall is owned by Henry Sy, Sr. and managed by SM Prime Holdings. Construction of the mall started in 2011 and opened to the public on September 28, 2012, on the site of the former Lanang Golf and Country Club.
Robinsons Butuan is a shopping mall located in Jose C. Aquino Avenue, Brgy. Bayanihan, Butuan. It is Robinsons Land's 33rd commercial center in the Philippines and the 4th Robinsons Mall in Mindanao after Robinsons Cagayan de Oro, Robinsons Cybergate Davao and Robinsons Place Gensan. It covers an area of over 58,300 square metres (628,000 sq ft) making it the largest Robinsons Mall in Mindanao. It was opened to the public on November 25, 2013. The mall also features 102-room hotel component that occupies 4th and 5th levels in the east wing of the building. One of the mall's main tenants is the DFA CO Butuan, the first passport office of the Department of Foreign Affairs in the Caraga region which opened in June 2015 at the mall's third level. An expansion wing, located beside the mall, was opened on August 2, 2017, and will feature more shops and restaurants plus the new integrated land transport terminal.
Butuan Polysports Complex, is a sports complex in Barangay Tiniwisan, Butuan, Philippines. The sports complex is the venue of athletic events for both Agusan del Norte and Caraga region. As of 2023, there are only 3 sport venues inside the complex which have been completed. These are: Polysports Basketball Arena, Polysports Football Stadium, and the Polysports Baseball Park, with only the football stadium still remaining active..
SM CDO Downtown is a shopping mall located along Claro M. Recto Avenue corner Osmeña Street, Cagayan de Oro, in the city's central business district. It is owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings, the largest mall operator in the Philippines, and opened on May 12, 2017. The mall is the 2nd in Northern Mindanao and 61st mall in the Philippines by the SM Group. It was the 3rd SM Supermall to be called "Premier" after SM Lanang Premier and SM Aura Premier respectively. It has a leasable area of 81,133 m2 and a gross floor area of 177,743 m2, making it the largest SM Supermall in Mindanao.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Caraga is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus reached Caraga on April 6, 2020, when the first case of the disease was confirmed in Butuan. The region was the last of the Philippines' 17 regions to confirm their first case. All provinces now have at least one confirmed COVID-19 case.
