Cinema of West Bengal, also known as Tollywood or Bengali cinema, is an Indian film industry of Bengali-language motion pictures. It is based in the Tollygunge region of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The origins of the nickname Tollywood, a portmanteau of the words Tollygunge and Hollywood, dates back to 1932. It was a historically important film industry, at one time the centre of Indian film production. The Bengali film industry is known for producing many of Indian cinema's most critically acclaimed global Parallel Cinema and art films, with several of its filmmakers gaining prominence at the Indian National Film Awards as well as international acclaim.

Byomkesh was a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The series starred Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saugata Bandyopadhyay and Ridhima Ghosh as Byomkesh Bakshi, Ajit and Satyabati respectively. The series premiered on 20 November 2014 on Colors Bangla channel and ended on 14 November 2015. This series is re-runned on 4 March 2024. The first episode was narrated by Sabyasachi Chakrabarty.
Ichche Nodee, also spelled as Ichchenodi, is a Bengali television soap opera that premiered on 15 June 2015, and aired on Star Jalsha. It was written by Leena Gangopadhyay and produced by Saibal Banerjee of Magic Moments Motion Pictures. It featured Vikram Chatterjee and Solanki Roy in lead roles, Sritama Bhattacharjee in a negative role, Aishwarya Sen in a negative role later positive, and Chandan Sen and Laboni Sarkar in pivotal roles. After running for almost two years, the show ended on 28 May 2017, after airing 712 episodes.
Kojagori is a Bengali language television soap opera that premiered from 2 February 2015 and aired on Zee Bangla. Produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, it starred Raja Goswami and Aparajita Ghosh Das in lead roles.
Bhootu is an Indian Bengali language children's comedy-drama television series that aired on Zee Bangla. The series revolves around a friendly girl ghost, "Bhootu", who always tries to help others, often causing light mischief and mayhem in the process. After a successful run of two-and-a-half years it went off-air on 19 December 2021.
Alo Chhaya was an Indian Bengali television soap opera which premiered on 2 September 2019 as a replacement of the popular daily soap Joyee and aired on Bengali General Entertainment Channel Zee Bangla and all old episodes are also available on the digital platform ZEE5. The series was produced by Susanta Das under the banner of Tent Cinema. It starred Debadrita Basu, Oindrila Bose, and Arnab Banerjee in lead role. The show went off air on 9 April 2021 due to low trp ratings.

Jamai Raja is an Indian Bengali-language television Comedy soap opera that premiered on 5 June 2017, and airs on Bengali Zee Bangla. The show stars Arjun Chakrabarty and Shreema Bhattacharjee in lead roles, and Chaiti Ghoshal as the main antagonist.
Aparajita Apu is an Indian Bengali television drama which is broadcasting on Bengali general entertainment channel Zee Bangla and is also available on the digital platform ZEE5. It was premiered on 30 November 2020 and produced by Susanta Das under the banner of Tent Cinema. The series stars Susmita Dey and Rohaan Bhattacharjee.
