Vikram Chatterjee is an Indian actor of Bengali cinema. He made his big screen debut with a small role in Mainak Bhowmik's 2012 movie Bedroom and was immediately noticed. In the same year he acted in Bappaditya Bandopadhyay's Elar Char Adhyay based on Rabindranath Tagore's last novel Char Adhyay as a lead. Soon after he acted in Ami Aar Amar Girlfriends , Hoichoi, Britto . He has gained immense popularity from his daily soap Ichchenodi where he played the lead character, Anurag and enjoys a huge fan base, thanks to the success of the show. Vikram has earned a lot of accolades for his film "Shaheb Bibi Golaam", where the whole industry has taken notice of his brilliant portrayal of Zico. In 2013, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss Bangla as a contestant.
As described by Calcutta Times, he is "Tellyland's" hottest man and 5th among most desirable men in 2017. [1] Vikram has been the heartthrob for many in the recent years and has been loved for many of his performances especially in the recent past.
His film Khoj directed by Arko Ganguly and Meghnad Badh Rahasya directed by Anik Dutta have been critically acclaimed and successful at the box office as well.

On 29 April 2017 at 3.30 am Vikram and his friend Sonika Chauhan a model, actress and a TV Host, was driving back home from a party and met with an accident at Rashbehari Avenue connector near Lake mall. Both were taken to the hospital where Sonika was declared dead by the doctors due to severe head injuries [6] and Vikram was injured. He was treated at Ruby General Hospital and was later discharged on 4 May 2017. A police case was launched against Vikram. Initially he was absconding after the police had charged him with culpable homicide not amounting to murder as well as rash and negligent driving. [7] [8] Later, he was arrested by the Kolkata Police on 6 July. [9] [10] Thereafter a court granted him bail on 26 July 2017. [11]
Feluda, or Prodosh Chandra Mitra [Mitter], is a fictional detective, private investigator created by Indian director and writer Satyajit Ray. Feluda resides at 21 Rajani Sen Road, Ballygunge, Calcutta, West Bengal. Feluda first made his appearance in a Bengali children's magazine called Sandesh in 1965, under the editorialship of Ray and Subhas Mukhopadhyay. His first adventure was Feludar Goendagiri. Anjan Dutta is an Indian film director, actor, and singer-songwriter known for his work in the Bengali alternative music genre anyodharar gaan. As an actor, Dutta began his career in Bengali cinema in the Mrinal Sen film Chaalchitra, for which he won the best newcomer actor award at the Venice Film Festival. He acted in Aparna Sen's hit film, Mr. and Mrs. Iyer. In 2018 he featured in Swapnasandhani's new play Taraye Taraye, as Vincent van Gogh, under the direction of Kaushik Sen.
Bhagam Bhag is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and written by Neeraj Vora. Sombhu Mitra was an Indian film and stage actor, director, playwright, reciter and an Indian theatre personality, known especially for his involvement in Bengali theatre, where he is considered a pioneer. He remained associated with the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) for a few years before founding the Bohurupee theatre group in Kolkata in 1948. Paoli Dam is an Indian actress who started her career with the Bengali television serial Jibon Niye Khela (2003). She then worked in Bengali television serials such as Tithir Atithi and Sonar Harin; the former ran for six years on ETV Bangla. Dam spent her childhood in Kolkata, earning a postgraduate degree in chemistry from Rajabazar Science College. Initially, she wanted to become a chemical researcher or a pilot. Madan Mitra is an Indian politician, actor from West Bengal. Madan Mitra started his career with party Indian National Congress. He held many positions of Indian Youth Congress, the party's youth wing. In 1998, he joined All India Trinamool Congress party, founded by his colleague Mamata Banerjee, and his movie debut was in the 2023 Bengali film Oh! Lovely. In 2011, he was elected to the legislative assembly and became a state minister. He was arrested for the Sarada chit fund conspiracy case and got bail after 22 months.

Aschorjyo Prodeep is a 2013 Indian Bengali-language film directed by Anik Dutta. The film is based on a short story by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. It is Dutta's second feature film as a director. The film's theatrical trailer was released on YouTube on 26 October 2013 while the film released on 15 November 2013 in Kolkata. The film deals with the unfulfilled aspirations of an everyday couple whose dreams never become reality and as they try hard to excel in life. Anilabha discovers a magic lamp from which a genie emerges and is able to take him to unseen heights in life that he never reached before and also life of extreme luxury and fortunes. How they adjust and cope with their new-found lives forms the rest of the story.

Bhobishyoter Bhoot is a 2019 Indian Bengali-language satirical comedy film directed by Anik Dutta. The film was released on 15 February 2019. Despite its similar topics, Dutta states that it is not a sequel to his film, Bhooter Bhabishyat (2012). All single and multiple screen theaters were stopped from showing the film immediately after release citing "orders from upper management". Various leading newspapers quoted unnamed sources, as well Dutta, as saying that the West Bengal police had issued these instructions to the theatres.
