They competed in archery, athletics, basketball, beach volleyball, chess, cycling, diving, fencing, football, gymnastics, judo, shooting, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, volleyball, and weightlifting. Ukraine was not represented in badminton, golf, sailing, and water polo.
