Sailing, for the 2013 Pacific Mini Games , took place from Tekaviki Island, in front of the Vakala sailing HQ. The island is located in the northeast from Mata-Utu. Races took place from 3 to 12 September 2013. [1] The Laser and the Hobie 16 classes (individual and team events) were held at these Games. [2] [3] [4] [5]

The 2013 Pacific Mini Games was the ninth edition of these Games. They were held in Mata-Utu, Wallis and Futuna, Territory of France, from 2 to 12 September 2013.

The 1975 South Pacific Games, held in Guam from 1 to 10 August 1975, was the fifth edition of the South Pacific Games. A total of 1,205 athletes participated in a rain-affected games which had only one clear day out of the ten scheduled.

Sailing at the 2015 Pacific Games was held at Port Moresby from 5–11 July 2015. The regatta was hosted by Royal Papua Yacht Club in Konedobu, with men's, women's and team events taking place on the Konebada course. Equipment classes were the Laser and Laser Radial dinghies, and the Hobie 16 catamaran.

The 1999 South Pacific Games, held in Guam from 29 May to 12 June 1999, was the eleventh edition of the South Pacific Games.

1993 South Pacific Mini Games

The 1993 South Pacific Mini Games were held at Port Vila in Vanuatu from 6–16 December 1993. It was the fourth edition of the South Pacific Mini Games.

1997 South Pacific Mini Games

The 1997 South Pacific Mini Games were held at Pago Pago in American Samoa from 11–22 August 1997. It was the fifth edition of the South Pacific Mini Games. It was much larger than previous editions, with an almost doubling of the number of medals awarded compared to the 1993 South Pacific Mini Games. The impressive performances by Nauru in weightlifting continued in Pago Pago, with the tiny nation finishing on top of the unofficial medal table after winning 33 gold.

1995 South Pacific Games

The 1995 South Pacific Games, held at Papeete in French Polynesia from 25 August to 5 September 1995, was the tenth edition of the South Pacific Games.

Netball at the Pacific Games has been played by women's netball teams from Pacific nations since 1963. It is the oldest Oceania regional tournament.

Volleyball at the Pacific Games has been played since 1963.

Golf at the Pacific Games has been contested since 1969 when the sport was included as one of fifteen sports at the Third South Pacific Games held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Men's and women's tournaments are contested by teams of four golfers per country, and medals are awarded for individual and team winners. Golf has also been included in many of the Pacific Mini Games, starting with the second edition held at Rarotonga in 1985.

Weightlifting at the Pacific Games

Weightlifting at the Pacific Games has been contested since 1966 when it was included as one of twelve sports at the Second South Pacific Games held in Nouméa, New Caledonia. A weightlifting competition for women was introduced in 1995 for the games in Papeete.

Outrigger canoeing at the Pacific Games

Outrigger canoeing, mostly using Va'a canoes, has been contested at the Pacific Games since the 1995 edition held in Papeete, Tahiti. The Va'a rudderless outrigger has been raced at all regattas, although the "Galaide II" outrigger canoe with rudder has also been used. Tahiti has dominated the competition since inception, topping the medal count at all regattas the country has attended.

Sailing at the Pacific Games was first contested when the sport was added for the 1969 games at Port Moresby. It has also been included at several of the Pacific Mini Games, starting with the fifth edition held in American Samoa in 1997.
