Saleumphone Sopraseut (born 5 October 1969) is a Laotian racewalker. He is the Laotian national record holder in the 20 km walk. He competed in the men's 20 kilometres walk at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]

Career

Sopraseut entered the 20 km walk at the 1992 Olympics. [2] He was disqualified from the race. [3]

He qualified for the 20 km walk finals at the 1995 World University Games. He placed 17th with a time of 1:56:25 hours. [4]

In February 1997, Sopraseut set his 20 km walk personal best of 1:48:01 at a meeting in Luang Prabang. The time also broke the Laotian national record. [5] [6]
