Dr. Salik Ram Govind is a Fijian politician and former Member of the Parliament of Fiji for the FijiFirst Party. [1] He was elected to Parliament in the 2018 election. [2] He did not run for re-election in 2022 Election. [3]

Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka is a Fijian politician who has served as Prime Minister of Fiji since 24 December 2022. He was the instigator of two military coups in 1987. He was democratically elected as Prime Minister of Fiji, serving from 1992 to 1999, and again in 2022, leading a three-party coalition. He also served as Chairman of the Great Council of Chiefs from 1999 to 2001, and later as Chairman of the Cakaudrove Provincial Council from 2001 to 2008.

The National Federation Party is a Fijian political party founded by A.D. Patel in November 1968, as a merger of the Federation Party and the National Democratic Party. Though it claimed to represent all Fiji Islanders, it was supported, in practice, almost exclusively by Indo-Fijians whose ancestors had come to Fiji between 1879 and 1916, mostly as indentured labourers. However, in the 2018 general election, the party recorded a considerable change in its support base due to the inclusion of more indigenous Fijian candidates.

Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is an Fijian politician and a former cabinet minister. He was the Fijian attorney general and the Minister for Economy, Civil Service and Communications, and also served as the minister responsible for climate change under the FijiFirst government. He is the third-highest polling candidate from the Fijian general elections of 2014 and 2018.

Kishore Nand Govind, OBE was a former Fiji Indian politician who was a judge of the High Court of Fiji. In his political career he was known as a fearless person who was never afraid to speak out on issues that he believed affected his electorate. After retiring from politics, he was made a judge of the Supreme Court of Fiji and during the tumultuous times between the coups of May and September 1987 he continued to deliver verdicts which maintained the independence of the judiciary. He was forced to leave Fiji in late 1987 but returned in 2001 to be reappointed a judge of the High Court, and in his decisions has shown himself to have taken into consideration the social impact before passing judgement.

The result was a victory for the ruling FijiFirst party of Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama, which received just over 50% of the vote and 27 of the 51 seats in Parliament, a loss of five seats. The main opposition party, Social Democratic Liberal Party, gained six seats, whilst the National Federation Party retained its three seats.

He served as the assistant Minister for Employment, Productivity, Industrial Relations, Youth and Sport. He was re-elected to Parliament in the 2018 election. In 2022, as FijiFirst lost the election, Maharaj subsequently lost his portfolio, despite being re-elected to a 3rd term in Parliament.

Ro Filipe Qaraniqio Tuisawau is a Fijian chief, politician, and Cabinet Minister. He is a member of the People's Alliance. He is the son of former National Federation Party MP Ratu Mosese Tuisawau and the nephew of former SODELPA leader Ro Teimumu Kepa.
