Sam Webb (born May 19, 1998) is an American professional football cornerback for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Missouri Western and was signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2022.

Las Vegas Raiders

Webb signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on April 30, 2022, following the 2022 NFL draft. [3] Webb made the initial 53-man roster out of training camp. He played in all 17 games with three starts, recording 36 tackles, three passes defensed, and a forced fumble.

On August 29, 2023, Webb was waived by the Raiders and re-signed to the practice squad. [4] [5]

Carolina Panthers

On September 14, 2023, Webb was signed by the Carolina Panthers off the Raiders practice squad. [6] He was released on October 10. [7]

Las Vegas Raiders (second stint)

On October 16, 2023, the Raiders signed Webb to their practice squad. [8] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 8, 2024. [9]

On August 27, 2024, Webb was waived by the Raiders and re-signed to the practice squad. [10] [11] He was promoted to the active roster on September 24. [12]
