The San Diego State Aztecs women's lacrosse team is the women's lacrosse program that represents San Diego State University. The Aztecs compete in NCAA Division I as an independent. The team plays their home games at the on-campus Aztec Lacrosse Field.
The Aztecs announced plans to join the Big 12 Conference as an affiliate member for women's lacrosse on February 21, 2024. [2]

The Mountain West Conference (MW) is one of the collegiate athletic conferences affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The MW officially began operations on January 4, 1999. Geographically, the MW covers a broad expanse of the Western United States, with member schools located in California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, as well as an associate member in Hawaii.
