Vestfold[²vɛstfɔl](listen) is a county in Norway, on the western shore of the Oslofjord. It borders Buskerud and Telemark. The county administration is in Tønsberg, Norway's oldest city, and the largest city is Sandefjord. With the exception of the city-county of Oslo, Vestfold is the smallest county in Norway by area.
Sandefjord Airport, Torp is an international airport located 4 nautical miles northeast of Sandefjord, Norway and 110 kilometers (68 mi) south of Oslo. The airport features a 2,989-meter (9,806 ft) runway aligned 18/36. Torp partially serves as a regional airport for Vestfold and in part as a low-cost airport for Eastern Norway and the capital of Oslo. Widerøe have a base at Torp, serving both domestic and international destinations. It also sees scheduled flights by Norwegian Air International, Ryanair, Wizzair and KLM Cityhopper. The airport served 1,851,181 passengers in 2013.

Anders August Jahre was a Norwegian shipping magnate. Jahre was educated in law, and worked as a lawyer in Sandefjord from 1916 until 1928. Meanwhile, he was also involved in the whaling industry, and he founded the whaling company A/S Kosmos in 1928, operating out of Sandefjord. He also established Jahres Kjemiske Fabrikker, a processor of whale blubber, as well as establishing a passenger ferry line between Oslo and Kiel.

Southern Actor is a former whale catcher, currently a museum ship based in Sandefjord, Norway and owned by Sandefjord Museum. It is the only whale catcher from the Modern Whaling Epoch still to be in its original working order.
Goksjø is a lake in the municipalities of Sandefjord, Larvik and Andebu in Vestfold county, Norway. Goksjø is 5 km from north to south, and has a circumference of 20 km. At its deepest, Goksjø is no deeper than 26 meters. Goksjø has an elevation of 28 meters above sea level. It is the largest lake in Sandefjord, and the third-largest in Vestfold County. It is surrounded by rural agricultural lands, and flooding occurs on a regular basis.

The 1957 Norwegian Football Cup was the 52nd season of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The tournament was open for all members of NFF, except those from Northern Norway. The final was played at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on 20 October 1957, and was contested by the six-times winners Fredrikstad, and Sandefjord who made their debut in the Norwegian Cup final.
