Sangchin (Persian : سنگچين‎, also Romanized as Sangchīn and Sang Chīn)^[1] is a village in Hojr Rural District, in the Central District of Sahneh County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 156, in 37 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Hojr Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Sahneh County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,007, in 1,699 families. The rural district has 25 villages.

The Central District of Sahneh County is a district (bakhsh) in Sahneh County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 55,854, in 14,064 families. The District has one city: Sahneh. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Gamasiyab Rural District, Hojr Rural District, Khodabandehlu Rural District, and Sahneh Rural District.
