Career

Khalid made his film entry through Nonsense (2018). He joined the sets to learn about the aspects of film making and only appeared in a couple of scenes. [1] His next film was Adhyarathri playing opposite Anaswara Rajan. [2] Khalid's first lead role was in the film June with Rajisha Vijayan and several newcomers. [3] [4] In December 2019, he played a role in the Gautam Menon web series Queen , which marked his television debut. [5] [4] In 2020, he played Mohanlal's younger brother in the film Big Brother . [6] [3] His next film was R. Ajay Gnanamuthu's Cobra . The film is marked as his Tamil debut. [3] [6] [4]

It is the fourth installment in the Major Mahadevan film series, with Mohanlal reprising his double role as Colonel Mahadevan and a new character, Major Sahadevan. It also features Arunoday Singh and Allu Sirish. The film, set in two time periods, is based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and act as both prequel and follow-up to the series. Mohanlal's and Sirish's characters were modeled on Hoshiar Singh Dahiya and Arun Khetarpal, both of whom were awarded the Param Vir Chakra for their roles in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.

Varane Avashyamund is a 2020 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Anoop Sathyan, son of Sathyan Anthikad, in his debut. It was produced by Dulquer Salmaan. The film stars Suresh Gopi, Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana and Kalyani Priyadarshan. It has music by Alphons Joseph. The film stars Vikram in a dual role, while Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Srinidhi Shetty, Mirnalini Ravi, Miya George, K. S. Ravikumar, Anandaraj, Robo Shankar and Meenakshi Govindarajan play supporting roles. After appearing in the Malayalam film, Big Brother (2020) and the Telugu films Crazy Fellow (2022) and Ugram (2023), she landed a pivotal role in her highest-profile project till date, Rajinikanth's Jailer (2023).
