Sarmeshk (Persian : سرمشك‎; also known as Sarmoshk)^[1] is a village in Hanza Rural District of Rabor County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2011 census, its population was 1699.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Hanza Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Hanza District, Rabor County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,193, in 1,323 families. The rural district has 43 villages.

Rabor County is a county in Kerman Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Rabor. It was separated from Baft County in 2009. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 33,718 in 7,664 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Hanza District. The county has two cities: Rabor & Hanza.
