Sarvesh Kushare

Sarvesh Anil Kushare (born 17 June 1995) [1] is an Indian athlete who competes in high jump. He was a member of the Indian athletics team at the 2022 Asian Games at Hangzhou. [2] He qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics and finished 13th in Group B and 25th overall in the qualification round at Paris clearing a height of 2.15m. [3]

Early life

Sarvesh hails from a village Deogaon in Maharashtra, about 50 km from Nashik. [4] He learnt his basics from D.R.Bhosale school coach RW Jadhav.

The 2019 South Asian Games, officially the XIII South Asian Games, was a major multi-sport event which was originally slated to be held from 9 to 18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. Two Indian qualified for the finals, Yashas Palaksha and Santhosh Kumar and they finished fifth and sixth respectively. In the heats, Palaksha clocked 49.61s to take second place.

Santhosh Kumar Tamilarasan is an Indian athlete from Tamil Nadu. He competes in 400m. He is selected to represent India in the 2024 Summer Olympics at Paris. He is part of the Indian 4 × 400 m relay team.
