She previously served twelve years in the Wisconsin Senate and two years in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Later in life, she also served as a member of the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents.

Scott Lawrence Fitzgerald is an American politician and former newspaper publisher. A Republican, he represents Wisconsin's 5th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives. The district includes many of Milwaukee's northern and western suburbs, such as Waukesha, West Bend, Brookfield, and Mequon. He represented the 13th district in the Wisconsin State Senate from 1995 to 2021.

Scott Richard Jensen is an American public relations professional and Republican politician from Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was the 74th speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly (1997–2003), and served a total of 14 years in the Assembly (1992–2006). Prior to his years in the Assembly, he served as chief of staff to Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson.

Donald Pridemore is a retired American electrical engineer and Republican politician from Hartford, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for 10 years, from 2005 to 2015. He is running to return to the Assembly in 2024, in what is now Wisconsin's 98th Assembly district. He also ran unsuccessfully for Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction in 2013 and for Wisconsin Senate in a 2021 special election.

The 2012 United States Senate election in Wisconsin took place on November 6, 2012, alongside a U.S. presidential election as well as other elections to the United States Senate and House of Representatives and various state and local elections. Incumbent Democratic Senator Herb Kohl retired instead of running for re-election to a fifth term. This was the first open Senate seat in Wisconsin since 1988, when Kohl won his first term.

Waukesha County Park System is located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. It is composed of nine different parks throughout the county: Fox Brook Park, Fox River Park, Menomonee Park, Minooka Park, Mukwonago Park, Muskego Park, Naga-Waukee Park, and Nashotah Park. "From swimming to camping to hiking and cross-country skiing, each park has its own personality." The park system also has five lake accesses: Ashippun Lake, Nagawicka Lake, Nemahbin, Pewaukee Lake, and School Section; two golf courses: Naga-Waukee War Memorial, and Moors Down; two ice arenas: Naga-Waukee and Eble; Retzer Nature Center; and the Waukesha County Expo Center. Dogs are permitted at all parks with the exception of Retzer Nature Center. Minooka Park, Mukwonago Park and Nashotah Park offer the community fenced in dog parks.

He was a candidate in the 2024 Republican primary for United States House of Representatives in Wisconsin's 8th congressional district.

He previously served two years each in the Wisconsin Senate and State Assembly, and was chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin from August 2021 through December 2022.

Benjamin Franklin Goss was an American farmer, printer and merchant from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, who served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly from Waukesha County: one in 1855 as a Whig, and the other in 1893 as a Democrat. In the interim, he had spent some time in Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas, and served as an officer in the American Civil War. In his later years, his greatest fame was as an amateur ornithologist.

Janel Brandtjen is an American businesswoman and Republican politician and from Waukesha County, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 22nd Assembly district from January 2015 until January 2025. She has been a leader among those in Wisconsin denying the results of the 2020 United States presidential election and seeking retribution against those who participated in the election administration. She has a long running feud with Republican state Assembly speaker Robin Vos, and she was one of several state lawmakers who signed a letter asking Vice President Mike Pence to reject the electoral votes of Wisconsin at the January 6, 2021, counting of electoral college votes.

Nikolaus Peter "Nik" Rettinger III is an American political staffer and Republican politician from Waukesha County, Wisconsin. He served one term as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 83rd Assembly district during the 2023–2024 term. He is also vice chairman of the Young Republican National Federation.
