Serica paralupina is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [1] It is found in China (Shaanxi, Sichuan). [2] [3]
Adults reach a length of about 8.8–9.2 mm. They have a dark reddish brown, dull, oblong body. The legs are brown and the antennae are yellow. There are sparse short and long setae on the dorsal surface. [3]
The species name is derived from Greek pseudo (meaning false) and the species name lupina and refers to its similarity to Serica lupina . [3]
