Serinicoccus is a Gram-positive, strictly aerobic and moderately halophilic bacterial genus from the family Ornithinimicrobiaceae. [1] [2] [3] The genus was formerly in the family Intrasporangiaceae, but later genomic data caused it to be reclassified in 2018. [4]
The Hyphomicrobiales are an order of Gram-negative Alphaproteobacteria.
The Oceanospirillales are an order of Pseudomonadota with ten families.
The Pasteurellaceae comprise a large family of Gram-negative bacteria. Most members live as commensals on mucosal surfaces of birds and mammals, especially in the upper respiratory tract. Pasteurellaceae are typically rod-shaped, and are a notable group of facultative anaerobes. Their biochemical characteristics can be distinguished from the related Enterobacteriaceae by the presence of oxidase, and from most other similar bacteria by the absence of flagella.
The Lachnospiraceae are a family of obligately anaerobic, variably spore-forming bacteria in the order Eubacteriales that ferment diverse plant polysaccharides to short-chain fatty acids and alcohols (ethanol). These bacteria are among the most abundant taxa in the rumen and the human gut microbiota. Members of this family may protect against colon cancer in humans by producing butyric acid. Lachnospiraceae have been found to contribute to diabetes in genetically susceptible (ob/ob) germ-free mice.
Acidicapsa is a bacterial genus from the family of Acidobacteriaceae.
Lentzea is a Gram-positive, mesophilic and aerobic genus from the family Pseudonocardiaceae.
Candidimonas is a genus of bacteria from the family of Alcaligenaceae.
Frigoribacterium is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming and motile genus of bacteria from the family of Microbacteriaceae.
Chitinispirillum is a genus of bacteria from the family of Chitinispirillaceae with one known species. Chitinispirillum alkaliphilum has been isolated from hypersaline lake sediments from the Wadi el Natrun valley in Egypt.
Frondihabitans is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming and non-motil genus of bacteria from the family of Microbacteriaceae.
Frondihabitans cladoniiphilus is a Gram-positive bacterium from the genus Frondihabitans which has been isolated from the thallus of the lichen Cladonia arbuscula from the Koralpe, Austria.
Herbiconiux is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, endophytic, obligatory aerobic and non-motile genus of bacteria from the family Microbacteriaceae.
Arsenicicoccus is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming and facultatively anaerobic bacterial genus from the family Dermatophilaceae. The genus was previously in the family Intrasporangiaceae, but was reclassified in 2018.
Serinicoccus chungangensis is a Gram-positive and halophilic bacterium species from the genus Serinicoccus which has been isolated from tidal flat sediments from the Seogmo Island in Korea.
Serinicoccus profundi is a Gram-positive bacterium species from the genus Serinicoccus which has been isolated from deep-sea sediments from the Indian Ocean.
Ornithinimicrobium is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming and non-motile bacterial genus from the family Ornithinimicrobiaceae. The genus was formerly in the family Intrasporangiaceae, but later genomic data caused it to be reclassified in 2018.
Okibacterium is a Gram-positive and non-spore-forming genus of bacteria from the family of Microbacteriaceae.
Microcella is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, aerobic and non-motile genus of bacteria in the family Microbacteriaceae.
Solimonas is a genus of bacteria from the family of Nevskiaceae.
Marinifilum is a genus of bacteria from the family of Marinifilaceae.
