Seton Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Richmond, Indiana. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Indianapolis.
The original Catholic high school in Richmond (St. Andrew) operated from 1899 to 1936 at the same location as Seton Catholic today, which opened in 2002. In 2009, Seton Catholic added a new gym to its campus, The Chuck Mosey Memorial Gymnasium.
Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton was a Catholic religious sister in the United States and an educator, known as a founder of the country's parochial school system. After her death, she became the first person born in what would become the United States to be canonized by the Catholic Church. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore, at 1201 Caton Avenue. It was founded in 1988 after the joining of the two schools, Archbishop Keough and Seton High School. In 2016 the Archdiocese of Baltimore confirmed that settlements had been paid to past students of the school who were sexually abused by Father Joseph Maskell, a priest and counsellor at the school from 1967 to 1975. The school closed in June 2017.
