Seventh Mountain is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Deschutes County, in the U.S. state of Oregon. [4] The community lies along the west bank of the Deschutes River southwest of Bend. [5]

Century Drive Highway, part of the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, connects Bend to Seventh Mountain. From Seventh Mountain, the byway runs west to Mount Bachelor and its ski area. [5] The CDP is closely associated with the Seventh Mountain Resort, which includes 21 lodging buildings with more than 200 condominiums. [6]

For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Seventh Mountain as a census-designated place (CDP). The census definition of the area may not precisely correspond to local understanding of the area with the same name. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 187, [7] over an area of 2.0 square miles (5.1 km2). [7]

It offers particularly good views of Mount Bachelor, Broken Top, and the Three Sisters (Oregon) mountains and provides access to many recreational facilities in central Oregon. It is west of U.S. Route 97 between Culver and Terrebonne. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Cline Buttes</span> Mountains in central Oregon, US

The Cline Buttes are mountains with volcanic origins that form three dome-shaped peaks located in Deschutes County in central Oregon. They are some of the eastern foothills of the Cascade Range. Situated on land administered by the Bureau of Land Management, the buttes are flanked on the east and west sides by two separate sections of the Eagle Crest Resort. On the highest summit, there is a Federal Aviation Administration site with an aircraft navigation beacon. The mountains have several hiking trails as well as a number of popular mountain bike routes.
