Shaarib Sabri (born 29 December 1988) is a singer from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. [1]
Shaarib Sabri was born in Delhi, India but later moved to Durga Marg, Moti Nagar, Jaipur in Rajasthan. Sabri's father is a classical Indian musician. Other singers in his family include his older brother Toshi Sabri, who was a contestant in the STAR Plus singing competition, Amul STAR Voice of India.[ citation needed ]
Sabri left in the middle of his 11th grade education to focus on a musical career. He was a finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 achieving 10th place by public votes and subsequently a runner-up with Banjyotsna Borgohain in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ek Main Aur Ek Tu . Sabri was a contestant on the show Junoon – Kuch Kar Dikhayenge on NDTV in the Bollywood Filmi Group. He has sung for movies like Raaz - The Mystery Continues in the rock version of "Maahi (Rock With Me)" with his brother Toshi Sabri. He was the music director for the Raaz – The Mystery Continues with his brother. Besides that, Shaarib has sung a song in the movie Summer of 2007. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 is a reality series, an extension of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa programme that was first aired in 1995 on Zee TV. With the new "Challenge" series, Zee TV brought 48 potential singers that are living in India.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is an Indian Hindi-language reality singing television show. It started airing on Zee TV in 1995 as Sa Re Ga Ma. It is the oldest running game show in India as well as the oldest show on private television in India. The name of the show is derived from the first five notes in the octave of classical Indian music.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 is an Indian television singing competition that premiered on 4 May 2007 and ran until 13 October 2007. It is the 2nd instalment of the "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" series and the 4th public voting competition in the "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" series. Chronologically, the show is preceded by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs, however systematically it is followed by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. It featured some new contestants and some old contestants from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 that were paired up in duets. The winners of the show were Ujjaini Mukherjee and Aishwarya Nigam, and the runners up were Sharib and Bonjyotsna. Like all the other shows in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu was hosted by Shaan. The judges for the show were Lesle Lewis and Hariharan. The Grand Finale was held at the Airport Expo in Dubai, U.A.E

It also featured judges from the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa series, Aadesh Shrivastava, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Alka Yagnik, Lalit Pandit and Jatin Pandit. Shaan, who had previously been hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The winner of the show was Ishmeet Singh Sodhi.
