Ana Lila Downs Sánchez is a Mexican singer-songwriter. She performs her own compositions and the works of others in multiple genres, as well as tapping into Mexican traditional and popular music. She also incorporates indigenous Mexican influences and has recorded songs in many indigenous languages such as Mixtec, Zapotec, Mayan, Nahuatl and Purépecha. Born and raised in Oaxaca, she primarily studied at the Institute of Arts by Oaxaca and briefly attended the University of Minnesota, before withdrawing to focus on her musical career. She soon began performing in the traditional music scene of Oaxaca City.
Café Tacvba is a band from Ciudad Satélite, Mexico. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s. They were founded in 1989, before they had the current lineup of Rubén Isaac Albarrán Ortega, Emmanuel del Real Díaz, José Alfredo "Joselo" Rangel Arroyo, and Enrique "Quique" Rangel Arroyo:, their friend Roberto Silva played the keyboards for a short period of time. Since the Cuatro Caminos World Tour, Luis "El Children" Ledezma has played the drums in every concert but is not considered an official member of the band, as well as Ramiro Del Real Díaz, who joined the band as a support musician playing the guitar since 2015.
"Ojos Así" is a song by Colombian singer Shakira from her fourth studio album, Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998). An Arabic pop song, the lyrics tell of the singer traveling the world and has not seen eyes like her lover. It was released as the album's fifth single in October 1999 by Sony Discos. The song was written by Shakira, composed and produced by the artist, Pablo Flores, and Javier Garza. The song was later adapted into English by Gloria Estefan as "Eyes Like Yours" and included on her following studio album, Laundry Service (2001).

First in 2005 for his album Resucitar, in 2011 for his album Días Nuevos, and in 2012 for his album 20 Años. Gian Marco was named UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Peru.
Ananda is the eighth studio album by Mexican singer-songwriter Paulina Rubio, released on September 18, 2006, through Universal Music Group. Its pop rock music incorporates latin, dance, folk, electropop, alternative and flamenco styles with instrumentation from synthpop beats, guitars, drums, synthesizers, strings and Spanish musical instruments. Paulina is the fifth studio album by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. It was released on May 23, 2000 internationally by Universal Music Group and marks her first record production with American global music corporation. Named "#1 Hot Latin Tracks Producer" of 2007 by Billboard magazine and Composer of the Year at 2010 ASCAP's Latin Music Awards, Torres has written and produced songs for many artists including Ricardo Arjona, Jaci Velasquez, Ednita Nazario, Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin and Franco De Vita.

It is the first release by the artist under Warner Music. Jason Birchmeier from Allmusic named it "an eagerly awaited album with a phenomenal lead single." 5to Piso marks the third album in which the singer collaborates with Tommy Torres, after Adentro and Quién Dijo Ayer.
"La Guirnalda" is a song written and produced by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel and first recorded by Spanish performer Rocío Dúrcal. It was released in 1986 as the first single from Siempre, Dúrcal's tenth album produced by Juan Gabriel. The song became very successful and is often referred as one of her signature songs. According to the Billboard magazine electronic database, "La Guirnalda" holds the distinction for being the first number-one single on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart on September 6, 1986, being replaced at the top by Juan Gabriel with "Yo No Sé Qué Me Pasó"; however, in the printed version of the same chart, titled "Hot Latin 50" for the week of October 4, 1986, the songs appears at number three, following "Yo No Sé Qué Me Pasó" and Emmanuel's version of "Toda la Vida". In 1989, Mexican singer Daniela Romo recorded her own version of the song and included it on her album Quiero Amanecer con Alguien. The music video for the song was shot at Puerto Vallarta Beach, Mexico.

Celso Duarte is a virtuoso of Paraguayan harp and Mexican jarocho harp, arranger, singer, and multi-talented instrumentalist. Duarte has performed and recorded with Lila Downs since 1998 and has also accompanied and collaborated with other artists, including Susana Baca, Celso Piña, Plácido Domingo, Mariza, Ramón Vargas, Julieta Venegas, Wynton Marsalis, The Chieftains and Ry Cooder. As a solo artist, he has performed with his band at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Joe's Pub and other historic venues. His first solo album, "De Sur a Sur ", was released in 2006.
