The Shakey's V-League 10th Season: 1st Conference is the eighteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on April 7, 2013 with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are three new teams who are participating in this season, they are the Arellano University Lady Chiefs, De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Lady Patriots, and the University of San Carlos Lady Warriors. This three new teams will face the seven current participating teams like ADMU, AdU, UST, NU, SSC-R, UPHSD and CSJL.
At the end of the elimination round, the Lady Eagles of the Ateneo de Manila University and the Lady Bulldogs of the National University emerged on the top of standings in their respective group via complete sweep 4–0. Meanwhile, the Letran Lady Knights Collegio de San Juan de Letran of Group A and the Lady Warriors of the University of San Carlos of Group B finish winless and bid their goodbye in the conference as both teams were eliminated for their hope to enter the quarterfinal round.
The games become intense on the Quarterfinals wherein ADMU, UST, NU and AdU became the Final 4 teams to enter the Semifinals. NU and ADMU became victorious on their assignments, and became the finalists for the title, leaving AdU and UST battling for the bronze. This is NU's first Finals appearance, and still they are searching for their first ever championship of the League, while ADMU is looking for a 3-peat, as they are the 1st conference's champions of Seasons 8 and 9.
Due to vastly increase of volleyball fans and spectators, the management decided to look for more venues that can accommodate large number of crowd. This is the first time that the League held its games on the state of the art Mall of Asia Arena, and in the iconic Philsports Arena during Semifinals, Battle for 3rd, and Championship matches.
On May 26, 2013 (Game 2 of the Finals and Battle for 3rd), Shakey's V-League held its first live telecast on TV via GMA News TV. It continued to air live until the Game 3 of the series (Finals and Battle for 3rd). This is also the league's first time to have Game 3 matches on both Finals and Battle for 3rd. NU Lady Bulldogs snatched their first ever championship over ADMU Lady Eagles, while the UST Tigresses overcome AdU Lady Falcons for the Bronze.
The conference is composed of 10 teams, grouped into two pools, each consisting of five squads. [2]

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) volleyball tournament is divided into four divisions, namely men's, women's, boys' and girls'. Volleyball is a mandatory sport in the women's division. The UAAP volleyball tournament was held in the first semester of the school year until the UAAP Board decided to move it to the second semester in Season 69. This decision was made so that the games can be televised to improve its popularity.
UAAP Season 69 was the 2006–07 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The University of the East was the season host with the theme “Achieving Excellence in Sports Through Unity, Harmony and Commitment.” The season started with basketball competition on July 8, 2006 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The V-League 4th Season 1st Conference is a tournament of the Shakey's V-League. The tournament began last May 17, 2007 and ended on July 3, 2007, with the UST Tigresses winning two games to none against the SSC-R Lady Stags.
The V-League 4th Season 2nd Conference is a tournament of the Shakey's V-League. The tournament began last October 14, 2007 at The Arena in San Juan. It ended last December 4, 2007 with the University of Santo Tomas Tigresses winning yet again against the first runner-up team from the 1st conference San Sebastian College - Recoletos Lady Stags in a dramatic 5-set game 3 finals match. These resulted in a back-to-back championship winning streak for the UST Tigresses as they are the defending champions from the 1st conference.
The 1st Conference of the 6th Season of the Philippines Shakey's V-League will start on April 19 at the Filoil Flying V Arena. Teams include defending champion and current NCAA champion San Sebastian, UAAP runner-up FEU, NCRAA champion Lyceum. Two Visayan teams, CESAFI champion USJ-R, and USLS, join at the quarterfinals. UAAP champion La Salle decided not to compete and took a leave of absence; UP replaced the Lady Archers to complete the eight-team elimination round roster.
The 2nd Conference of the 6th Season of the Shakey's V-League was held in October 2009 at the Filoil Flying V Arena. Second Conference shall be governed by the FIVB Official Volleyball Rules. The participating teams are the same as at the last conference, but without the two Visayan teams.
The 1st Conference of the 7th Season of the Shakey's V-League was held in April 2010 at the Filoil Flying V Arena. Second Conference shall be governed by the FIVB Official Volleyball Rules. The participating teams is the same as the last conference, but without the two Visayan teams.
The Shakey's V-League 9th Season: 1st Conference is the sixteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on April 24, 2012, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. After a two-year hiatus, the Tigresses of the University of Santo Tomas, the winningest team of the league, participates the conference with other nine teams.
Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball Club.
The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: 1st Conference is the 19th conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on March 23, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are 12 teams competing this including the join forces of all the top selected players from Davao in one team and the debut of St. Louis University of Baguio. Also, the return of Arellano, Adamson, Ateneo, FEU, San Sebastian, CSB, NU, Perpetual, SWU, and UST. This is league's first time to have 12 participating schools to battle for the championship, and first to have a school representing Mindanao region.
The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: Open Conference was the 20th conference of Shakey's V-League held between June 29, 2014, to August 31, 2014. The opening ceremonies were held on June 29, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There were eight (8) teams that competed, with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers emerging as the tournament's champion.
The Shakey's V-League 12th Season Collegiate Conference was the 23rd conference of Shakey's V-League. The opening ceremony was held on July 11, 2015 with the first triple header of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, Metro Manila. There were twelve (12) competing teams for this conference.
The Spikers’ Turf Collegiate Conference was the 2nd conference of the Spikers' Turf men's volleyball which started on July 13, 2015 and ended on September 27, 2015 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There were twelve (12) competing teams in this conference.
The UAAP Season 78 high school volleyball tournament started on August 22, 2015. The tournament venue is the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. Adamson is the tournament host. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven. Far Eastern University fielded boys' and girls' volleyball teams beginning season 77. Since there are now seven participating schools, the tournaments have a Final Four format. The UAAP Board decided to move the high school volleyball tournaments from 2nd semester to 1st semester due to the basketball juniors tournament being moved from the 1st semester to 2nd semester.
The UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments started on February 4, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with the opening games of the men and women's senior volleyball tourneys, participated by 8 regular UAAP members. Aside from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the games will also be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City and the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The tournament host is the University of Santo Tomas, the season's host school.
The 2015 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the twelfth season of the Shakey's V-League (SVL). There were three indoor conferences in the season.
The Shakey's V-League was a non-professional volleyball league in the Philippines that started in 2004. It began as a women's collegiate league with teams coming from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation (CESAFI), among others. Since 2011, corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams have also participated in the league.
The UST Golden Tigresses are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the University of Santo Tomas. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Their current head coach is the former Golden Spiker Kungfu Reyes who is also the coach of their junior girls’ volleyball program.
Mary Jean Balse-Pabayo is a Filipina volleyball player. She currently plays for the Army Black Mamba Lady Troopers volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League. She was a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that won the bronze medal in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games.
The 2022 Shakey's Super League Collegiate Pre-Season Championship was the inaugural tournament of Shakey's Super League.
