The 2015 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the twelfth season of the Shakey's V-League (SVL). There were three indoor conferences in the season.

Open Conference

Tournament Format

Preliminaries (PL)

Single Round-robin. Top four teams qualify for the semifinals.

Semi-finals (SF)

The four semi-finalists will compete against each other in a single-round robin phase.

  • Top two SF teams will compete for GOLD.
  • Bottom two SF teams will compete for BRONZE.

Finals

The battle for GOLD and the battle for BRONZE will both follow the best-of-three format.

  • If the battle for GOLD ends in two matches (2-0), then there will no longer be a Game 3 for either GOLD or Bronze. A tie in the contest for the BRONZE (1-1) will be resolved using FIVB rules.
  • A tie in the series for GOLD (1-1) after Game 2 will be broken by a Game 3, regardless of the result of the series in BRONZE.

Collegiate Conference

Tournament Format

Preliminaries (PL)

  • Twelve (12) participating teams will be divided into two PL groups - Group A & Group B.
  • Each pool will play a single round robin.
  • The TOP 4 TEAMS PER POOL (or a total of eight teams) will advance to the quarterfinal Round.
  • The bottom two per group will be eliminated from the tournament.

Quarterfinals (QF)

  • The eight quarter finalists will be regrouped into one pool.
  • The top four teams after a single round robin will advance to the semi-finals round.

Semi-finals (SF)

  • The four semi-finalists will compete against each other in a best-of-three series as follows: Rank 1 vs Rank 4 and Rank 2 vs Rank 3.
  • Top two SF teams will compete for GOLD.
  • Bottom two SF teams will compete for BRONZE.

Finals

The battle for GOLD and the battle for BRONZE will both follow the best-of-three format, provided:

  • If the battle for GOLD ends in two matches (2-0), then there will no longer be a Game 3 for either GOLD or Bronze. A tie in BRONZE (1-1) will be resolve using FIVB rules.

The Shakey's V-League 10th Season: 1st Conference is the eighteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on April 7, 2013 with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are three new teams who are participating in this season, they are the Arellano University Lady Chiefs, De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Lady Patriots, and the University of San Carlos Lady Warriors. This three new teams will face the seven current participating teams like ADMU, AdU, UST, NU, SSC-R, UPHSD and CSJL.

Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball Club.

The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: 1st Conference is the 19th conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on March 23, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are 12 teams competing this including the join forces of all the top selected players from Davao in one team and the debut of St. Louis University of Baguio. Also, the return of Arellano, Adamson, Ateneo, FEU, San Sebastian, CSB, NU, Perpetual, SWU, and UST. This is league's first time to have 12 participating schools to battle for the championship, and first to have a school representing Mindanao region.

Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. Aiza Maizo-Pontillas is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She was a former member and team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses, and a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led the España-based squad to its 16th and, as of 2018, latest championship in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) league. She was a Shakey's V-League (SVL) three-time Finals and two-time Season Most Valuable Player. Maizo is known for bagging several best-of awards in almost all volleyball skill departments in UAAP and SVL, excluding setting and digging. She is also known as the first Filipina in the entire franchise of SVL to take both Finals and Season MVP in a single conference twice.

The 2022 V-League Collegiate Challenge is the first conference of the V-League after it relaunched this year after six years. It is the inaugural competition of the V-League as a standalone tournament after being tied with Shakey's Pizza in the past as their title sponsor.
