Dennise Michelle "Denden" Garcia Lazaro-Revilla (born January 21, 1992) is a Filipina professional volleyball player. Lazaro is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She is known as the libero and Ateneo Lady Eagles' Iron Eagle.

Personal life

She was born on January 21, 1992, in Metro Manila. [1] She attended high school at Colegio San Agustin – Makati and completed her BS Biology degree at the Ateneo de Manila University in 2015. After graduation, Lazaro entered medical school at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. [2] However, by the end of 2016, it was reported that Lazaro filed a leave of absence from her schooling to resume her volleyball career. [3] [4]

Lazaro married basketball player LA Revilla on January 27, 2020. [5]

Career

Lazaro was the Libero for the Youth U16 Girl's national team that ranked seventh in the 2008 Asian Youth Girls U16 Championships. She was member of the 2009 Palarong Pambansa NCR Girls Secondary Division team. During her collegiate years, she played for the Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team from 2011 to 2015 and was part of the Ateneo teams which won the UAAP Volleyball Championships in 2014 and 2015. [6] She played beach volleyball with the Beach Volleyball Republic in since 2015. [7]

Lazaro played with the PLDT Home Ultera Ultra Fast Hitters in the 2015 Shakey's V-League Season 12 Season Open Conference [8] and for BaliPure Purest Water Defenders for the 2016 Shakey's V-League Season 13 Open Conference. [9] She played in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Kallang, Singapore. [10] For the 2017 PSL All-Filipino Conference, she signed with the club COCOLIFE Asset Managers in the Philippine Super Liga. [11]

In January 2019, Lazaro transferred to the Petron Blaze Spikers. [12] In May 2020, she moved back to PVL to signed with the Choco Mucho Flying Titans. [13]

Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management. She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years, where she was given the title "Queen Tamaraw". She played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) with the Cignal HD Spikers and is the PSL's brand ambassador for 2018 to 2019. In 2020, her team Cignal HD Spikers transferred to the Premier Volleyball League.

Maria Rosario Bollozos Soriano known as Charo Soriano, is a Filipino volleyball player, coach, and politician. Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. She also serves as a city councilor of Tuguegarao since 2022.

Jamenea "Jem" Ferrer is a Filipina volleyball player. She was a 3-time UAAP best setter awardee while playing for the Ateneo university Lady Eagles volleyball team. She was a member of Fab 5 together with Dzi Gervacio, Fille Cainglet–Cayetano, Gretchen Ho and A Nacachi.
