Sherwin Meneses is a Filipino volleyball coach. He is currently the head coach of the defending champion professional team, Creamline Cool Smashers, of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). He also coached the Adamson Lady Falcons in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and the Arellano Chiefs in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Manila Tytana Colleges Women's Volleyball Team (Formerly known as the Manila Doctors College).
Sherwin Meneses has been the coach of the Lady Falcons, Adamson University's women's volleyball team from 2012 to 2016. He resigned from his post on March 10, 2016, while UAAP Season 78 was still underway due to a dispute with the management. [1] [2] [3] He would then coach the Arellano Chiefs in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. [4]
He would also coach the now-defunct Generika-Ayala Lifesavers of the Philippine Super Liga and led the Arellano men's volleyball team to a runner-up finish in the NCAA Season 93. [5]
Meneses would be tapped to coach the Creamline Cool Smashers, of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). [6] He won his first title as a head coach when he helped Creamline clinch the 2022 Open Conference title. [5]
Leaning on the steady hands of Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza who were the top two highest pointers for Creamline, Meneses bagged his second title as a pro head coach in the 2022 Invitational Conference and thought about continuing the system in order to win a third straight championship. [7] [8]
Head coach Meneses and the Creamline-powered Philippine National Team lost to five-time champion China in the AVC Cup last August 23, 2022, but bounced back the next day against Iran, with the host Philippines utilizing the calibers of AVC veteran and match topscorer Galanza, Carlos, and Gumabao. Meneses has been tapped to the coaching staff of the national team with seven of its players coming from Creamline – Carlos, Galanza, Gumabao, Morado-De Guzman, Atienza, Domingo, and Valdez – set to participate in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia in May 2023 after the Cool Smashers successfully defended their PVL All-Filipino Conference title against the Petro Gazz Angels last March 30, 2023. Adamson University awarded Meneses as one of the 2024 Outstanding Alumni in Sports, Culture and Arts. [12]
Meneses guided the Cool Smashers to their 4-peat and 8th title overall in the pro league PVL on May 12, 2024. [13] [14]
Creamline bagged the first-ever grand slam and 10th title overall without the usual MVP-veterans as starters last September 12, 2024, equally making Meneses the first grand slam coach in the women's pro league in the Philippines. [15] [16] [17] [18] [19]
In August 2024, Meneses became coach of the NU Lady Bulldogs. [20] The Lady Bulldogs played at the 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship under the club name Monolith Skyrisers. [21] They finished sixth. [22] He would be formally signed as coach for the Lady Bulldogs for the UAAP in October 1, 2024. [23]
Maria Paulina "Pau" Soriano is a Filipino volleyball athlete playing for the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League.
Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). She was named "Best opposite spiker" seven times in her professional career and was the Finals MVP in the 2016 Shakey's V-League Reinforced Conference.
Julia Melissa "Jia" Morado-De Guzman is a Filipino volleyball player. She was a member of the Ateneo Lady Eagles and was the team's captain in the UAAP Season 79 Women's Volleyball tournament. From 2015, Jia has been a constant member of the Philippines Women's National Volleyball Team.
Jorella Marie de Jesus is a Filipino volleyball player. She was a member of the Ateneo de Manila University's collegiate varsity team from 2011 to 2015, and also of the 2015 Philippines U23 national team. She played for PLDT Home Ultera Fast Hitters as a Libero for the 2015 season.

The Creamline Cool Smashers are a Filipino professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by food company Rebisco and named after its Creamline Creamy Ice Cream brand. They are the most successful team in the PVL, having won ten championships. In the 2024 season, they became the first PVL team to achieve a "grand slam".
Jessica Margarett "Jema" Casidsid Galanza is a Filipina volleyball player and former captain of the Adamson Soaring Lady Falcons volleyball team in the UAAP and a National Team Member. She also played for the Laoag Power Smashers during the 2016 SVL Reinforced Conference and has become one of the top spikers for the Creamline Cool Smashers since 2017 in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Risa Sato is a Filipina-Japanese volleyball player who is currently living in the Philippines. She played in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines for the NU Lady Bulldogs and in the Premier Volleyball League for the Creamline Cool Smashers.

Diana Mae "Tots" Carlos is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was playing with UP Lady Fighting Maroons of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, and a member of both the indoor and beach volleyball collegiate varsity teams of the university. She bagged the back-to-back Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Spiker in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference and 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference. She is also part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that competed in the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup.

Maria Deanna Izabella Alvizo Wong is a Filipino professional volleyball athlete. Wong was a member of the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Blue Eagles, the school's women's varsity volleyball team from 2016 to 2020. During Season 80 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) in 2018, she won the Best Setter Award.
