The 2011 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the eighth season of the Shakey's V-League. There were three indoor conferences in 2011 season.

1st Conference

The Shakey's V-League 8th Season 1st Conference was the thirteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The conference started April 3, 2011 at The Arena in San Juan.

The teams were divided into two groups that played a single round robin. Group A was comprised Ateneo, FEU, San Sebastian, Southwestern University, and Lyceum. Group B had Adamson, CSB, University of St. La Salle (Bacolod), UPHSD, and NU. The top four teams in each group advanced to the quarterfinal round. The eight teams were again divided into two groups and played one round. The top two teams in each group advanced to a crossover best-of-three semifinals, winners of the semifinals advanced to the finals which is also a best-of-three series. [1]

Open Conference

The Shakey's V-League 8th Season Open Conference was the fourteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, commenced on July 31, 2011 at The Arena in San Juan with four commercial clubs joining regular league teams Ateneo de Manila University, San Sebastian College–Recoletos and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA. SEA Club Invitational

The Shakey's V-League 8th Season Southeast Asian Club Invitational was the fifteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, commenced on October 27, 2011 at The Arena in San Juan with clubs from Vietnam and Malaysia participating in the four-team tournament that also features local teams Philippine Army Lady Troopers and Ateneo Lady Eagles. Matches were aired on NBN 4 on a delayed basis. [9] [10]

The opening ceremonies was held on April 24, 2012, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. After a two-year hiatus, the Tigresses of the University of Santo Tomas, the winningest team of the league, participates the conference with other nine teams.

Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball Club.

Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management. She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years, where she was given the title "Queen Tamaraw". She played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) with the Cignal HD Spikers and is the PSL's brand ambassador for 2018 to 2019. In 2020, her team Cignal HD Spikers transfers to Premier Volleyball League.

Maria Rosario "Charo" Soriano is a Filipino volleyball player, coach, and politician. Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. She also serves as a city councilor of Tuguegarao since 2022.

Dennise Michelle "Denden" Garcia Lazaro-Revilla is a Filipina professional volleyball player. Lazaro is a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She is known as the libero and Ateneo Lady Eagles' Iron Eagle.

The Spikers' Turf is a men's semi-professional volleyball league in the Philippines associated with the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc..

The 2015 Spikers' Turf season was the inaugural season of the men's volleyball league Spikers' Turf, the counterpart of the women's Shakey's V-League. In 2014, the Shakey's V-League introduced a men's division during its 21st conference. The following year, Sports Vision, the organizers of the Shakey's V-League decided to spin-off the men's vision as a separate tournament, giving birth to the Spikers' Turf.

Aiza Maizo-Pontillas is a Filipina professional volleyball player. She was a former member and team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses, and a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. She led the España-based squad to its 16th and, as of 2018, latest championship in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) league. She was a Shakey's V-League (SVL) three-time Finals and two-time Season Most Valuable Player. Maizo is known for bagging several best-of awards in almost all volleyball skill departments in UAAP and SVL, excluding setting and digging. She is also known as the first Filipina in the entire franchise of SVL to take both Finals and Season MVP in a single conference twice.

The Shakey's V-League 12th Season Collegiate Conference was the 23rd conference of Shakey's V-League. The opening ceremony was held on July 11, 2015 with the first triple header of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, Metro Manila. There were twelve (12) competing teams for this conference.

Myla Pablo is a Filipino volleyball player. She was part of the Philippines women's national volleyball team in 2015.

The Shakey's V-League was a non-professional volleyball league in the Philippines that started in 2004. It began as a women's collegiate league with teams coming from the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation (CESAFI), among others. Since 2011, corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams have also participated in the league.

The UST Golden Tigresses are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the University of Santo Tomas. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Their current head coach is the former Golden Spiker Kungfu Reyes who is also the coach of their junior girls’ volleyball program.

The 2011 Letran Knights men's basketball team represented Colegio de San Juan de Letran in the 87th season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines. The men's basketball tournament for the school year 2011-12 began on July 2, 2011, and the host school for the season was University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.

Pauline Marie Monique Mandanas Gaston is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with Ateneo Lady Eagles collegiate women's University team. She currently plays for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League.

The Adamson Lady Falcons are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the Adamson University. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
