Shalbandi Sharif is an administrative unit, known as Union council of Buner District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

District Buner has 6 Tehsils i.e. Daggar, Chagharzai, Chamla, Khudu Khel, Gagra and Gadezai. Each tehsil comprises certain numbers of union councils. There are 27 union councils in Buner District. [1]

This village is spiritual center for Chishti Order in Sufism. The village is visited by thousands of Shalbandi Baba followers called (masakeens) from all over the world to pay respect and to gain blessings from this holy site.

Sayyid Ali Tirmizi, more commonly known as Pir Baba, was a Naqvi Sayyid, and a Sufi who settled in Buner among the Yusufzai Pashtuns. He was probably born in 908 AH, in Fergana, of Sayyid descent, died in AH 991. He was a supporter of the Mughal emperor Babar, and was an opponent of Bayazid Pir Roshan.

Rahdari is a centuries old village and one of the 51 union councils of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It was founded by the Tiwana's of Mitha Tiwana to collect tax on this major trade route of the Tiwana State. This is why it is called "Rahdari which means 'Trade Route'. Muhammad Suleman Shah Taunsvi or Khawaja Allah Buksh Taunsvi, commonly known as Pir Pathan, was a Sufi scholar and leader within the Chishti order of Sufism. He was born to the Jafar Pakhtun tribe of Darug people, Loralai District, Balochistan province, in what is now Pakistan. His shrine lies in Tehsil Taunsa of district Dera Ghazi Khan of Punjab province in Pakistan. His urs is celebrated at his shrine every year from (5-7) Safar al-Muzaffar, second month of the Islamic Calendar.
