Sham Ali (Persian : شمعلي‎, also Romanized as Sham ‘Alī and Sham‘-e ‘Alī; also known as Shams ‘Alī)^[1] is a village in Shandiz Rural District, Shandiz District, Torqabeh and Shandiz County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Shandiz Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Shandiz District, Torqabeh and Shandiz County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,431, in 4,132 families. The rural district has 22 villages.

Shandiz District is a district (bakhsh) in Torqabeh and Shandiz County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 21,833, in 5,838 families. The District has one city: Shandiz. The District has one rural district (dehestan): Shandiz Rural District.
